My wife lives in Jalandhar. You should be receiving it soon. Don't worry. I know how it feels like.
In my case the tickets were already booked and the medical was gonna expire on the 21st, so the situation was kinda panicky.

dec 3 applicant, i got DM ON 8 aug but still no PPR, any guesses when they will ask for passport now and how much time they will take send it back ????

files are not processed sequentially....how fast your file is processed depends on various factors - background checking; complete file; no red flags; and visa officer - the longer it takes the more likely there is an interview scheduled. If your status has not changed for more than 6 months, order notes, contact MP and see if an interview has been recommended...

Thanks for the response ! We did get a ADR request on june 20 , at which point we sent the documents in promptly within 3 days ( they asked us for wedding pics and proof of cohabitation -which we had already sent but sent it again anyways ) . Since then we haven't heard anything from NVDO. Also did an MP inquiry and they said that "medicals are valid, eligibility has not been decided, Background checks are in progress, documents requested have been received and are in Que of being processed."

how do i interpret that! So confused now. Dont know whether i should apply for notes. Any suggestions would help pls

Thanks for the response ! Ecas shows application recieved, medicals have been recieved. the sponsorship was passed 0ct 2, but they say we received yr application on sept 20

Since the process has changed at the NDVO. you would know the process going forward. Hence please share for the benefit of us juniors when you do get it.

At last the loooooong wait is over. My wife got the passport with SHINY VISA.

After AR, her status changed straight to DM.
On 29th July she got a call from NDVO if she could fly before 21st of August.
That was the turning point and the most fortunate day in our case. So here's a quick recap of her timeline.

AR: OCT 25
IP: JUL 29
DM: JUL 29
VISA: JUL 29
ECAS STATUS CHANGED: AUG 02
PP RECEIVED WITH SHINY VISA: TODAY

Just wanted to reiterate here that her travel history didn't effect the timeline as I was suspecting earlier.

I thank all the forum members for their continued support and guidance without which this journey would have been a nightmare.

And a BIG thanks to the ALMIGHTY for bestowing us with this happiness.

you are approaching your 12th month marker...since your status is not 'in process' you should order notes and check if an interview has been recommended or not....I am not saying you have been but it is better to rule out...when did you ask your MP to inquire? if it has been a while then contact him/her and ask to find out if an interview has been recommended or not..if the response is 'no' then no need for notes (you can order one in spite of that since you can see other information) but 'don't know' then you may want to see what is happening to your application...links for notes shown below

for the first link, you will find detailed description of how to order notes...second one is you tube presentation of how to order notes...if you have questions about the process, ask any member in the forum ...most of them have become experts in ordering 'notes'....for your information you are in similar situation like my partner's...nothing was known until 11th month....it was application received all the way until an interview was ordered.....on the bright side, some forum members got visas on 12th month without interviews...
