very true W2E!! But, seeing this forum has helped out in many ways from the filing of the app until now. More than anything it helps when we see movement for other applicants/seniors - otherwise it is completely a blackbox with no update.

wait...wait....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..wait some more time for about 10 months (jan 2015) to see any kind of movements....check ecas rarely ; check this forum (checking everyday to see if anything happening to your March 2014 applicants will drive you insane) or 2014 once in a while.....

hey everyone I need some help.. I'm completely confused. on August 2nd my husband's application went into process. we had a passport request back in January but because they had the wrong email address we had missed it.when we attempted in June to submit it they told us to wait since they had changed their system and would only require it in the final stages. now being in process I figured this is the final stages he again tried to submit it and they refused to take itsaying wait for another ppr. so 15 hour bus ride to hear wait for ppr. why wouldn't they want the passport now I'm confused!

I no expert, but just offering information. I know couple of Dec'13 applicant who have not received Passport request but their application is in Process since early August.

Hopefully, as part of the new process - you will get PPR with DM. Good luck with your application. Keep us posted. Thanks..

that would be nice. thanks. im hoping it's that. I feel a little up in the air since much of the processing has changed recently so im not sure what to expect.

Actualy frm last so many days m reading abt AOR that cic sent aor to both sponser and applicant but in my case cic only contact my husband in canada 1st they send aor to his email and next they asked for passport that also they sent email to my husband in canada.. Cic never email me as we write both email address on application forms... Is it normal.? Or i have to ask or write any application to NDVO.. Plz help me guys ill thankfull to you all...

my timeline is app received 11oct2013, AOR 15oct13, passport request 25nov13 passport sent 26nov13 , from 5nov ecas showing AR...

Oct applicant with AR?? Have you applied for notes - GCMS Notes? i think you should. you will know more about your file... medicals are valid for a year. they may ask for remedicals....

Please go through these links...the youtube video explains how to order notes; notes will telll you everything about your file. it would also tell you if all the communication information ie mailling address and email id is correct on file. Along with IF Interview is waived, validity of medicals and if there are any red flags.
