neha u talking about just one side of case...I m not fully agree wid u...you can't blame only Punjab,, Punjabi marrieges are always this kind of..its not bcoz of visa they are always same if couples are indian and lives only in india or its just a big wedding if its a simple persons or NRI's wedding..if you see in the past or present time. ..you can't say that Punjabi weddings are just for show off...if all the 90% spouse cases are from Punjab then NDVO why delay other states files. .yeah I know in the past lots of fake cases enter Canada but you just not only blame Punjabi people. ..
I m from Punjab and ur words hurts me...do you think that I m just married with my husband just bcoz of VISA?

I agree with rk..Even I am a punjabi not from Punjab though.but punjabi weddings are always big.Even I got married in ludhiana...it's just coz of sum few ppl who entered Canada the wrong way others are suffering...If ndvo wanted big fat Greek weddings than trust me every applicant from Punjab would have got their visas..

I also back up rk sandhu and chatwant that punjais don't get married for visas...pjbi girls r well educated to find jobs anywhere in the world....neha, in the past these things happened but now ppl are aware not to land into such relationships and Punjabis have lot of money to live lavishly in india...so lets leave it and just pray that all of us get visas on time and be together as Indians and comment...We all are one, going through same situation...tc gr8 enduring ppl! God speed for the visa...

Hey Brave girl!! This sadness and feeling of frustration doesn't suits you. You give hope to every one and today, you are disappointed. Your notes were issued far before they put your application in process then only they asked for re medicals, other wise why would the waste their and your time, So don't be upset and cheer up, you are almost there.... Look at me , a unique case whose application turned back to Application received status from In Process. No explanations from NDVO, no mail nothing.

this is difficult time lets be together and keep each other moral up to be with our partners soon ....whether its in India or canada ...hardly matters...who want money when peace of mind is not there ,,,

Ppl why u all getting disheartened..Marrying a canadian is not a crime..Pooja everyone will get their visas just a little patience..we all have come ds far and as for Rk Is concerned as said by rocky u have given hope to so many and it very sad to see that u not being hopeful..U vl hear good news and that's for sure..

its not i m not hopeful but its being 1 year of marriage and we could not spend time together ...daily frustration is jumping on each othere ...
I can think of rksandhu when she have a kid as well..what she must be going thru...
sach to yeh hai ki kitna bhi family ke saath raho ...partner ki kami cant not be fulfilled..
I am hopefl so only i open ecase daily hoping that something wud have been happened

I m not against Visa security pchecks but things shud be fast ..after its a matter of life...

they shud see documents and declare interview or remedical on time rather than lingering it fo rlifetime...

they need to change the process...

you are right. ..bcoz of some fake people they thinks every Punjab applicant are fake...thats y VO's suspicious to every single file who belongs to Punjab...if Punjabi people not geniune in the past then we are geniune Punjabi couples suffered. ..even in this stage my baby knows everybody in the house but he don't know whoz papa..where is he..

I completely agree with NEHA2515. I am also from Punjab and I have attended so close to close wedding for the sake of Visa or going abroad. None of the other society people are so aware of these nonsense fact of FAKE MARRIAGES. Its not direct to you RK sandu or any other particular person, its a common fact of PUNJAB. These toughness that we all are facing right now are because of those fake marriages and people who did marriage for the sake of money. I am experienced and faced it myself, so noone can better know the situation. its not personal to anyone but to those who actually did that. And majority are from punjab. They even married cousins, or brother in law or sister in law for CANADA visa what else you expect? Dont get hurt RK Sandu its not personal to you or any other genuine case.

Apparently what I have noticed from the information gathered from reading the posts here is...

• NDVO goes through about 50% of the cases in first run and grants them Visa. Usually these are very straight forward cases with a complete file and no additional work like background check, ADR etc. is needed. Currently timeline for this is 9 -10 months.
• Then they process 30% of the total cases in 11-13 month's time where there are minor complexities like ADR or not very straight forward cases but have enough proof of relationship being genuine.
• Remaining 20% cases are done after 13 month mark, and they usually have an interview (for things like wife being older than husband, different language/culture of husband and wife, second marriage of wife, parents not present in wedding, or a small wedding) and/or other time consuming hurdles like background check from another country.

May be other senior members, who have read more posts and learned more about the process can add/correct information on this post.

Guys lets forget about it, sometimes I get very sentimental and furious abt this fact but at the other end I feel what these things going to create the difference... We all have to suffer with this bloody process and stay away from our lifes. I am turning 28 now and till now just saw struggle with my parents for the marriage and then this separation. just few more days and we complete 1 years of separation.

actually we submit application in last of july and in aug they reture file due to some mistakes after it we submit again in sep they receive my application in oct.. thats how medical in may and application in oct
