Seriously seeing some forum members' timelines, it's driving me nuts how some of them didn't have any interview or any complications and still their cases were delayed inexplicably. I guess we'll have to prepare ourselves mentally for the same fate because who knows what's going to happen.

you know wat, I have a strong intuition that this blog will be forced to stop one day by CIC or all applicants will get a common instruction to not sharing personal data on internet.
I agree if there is no interview required why the case is delayed, bcoz they love to play with stuff, they are being ridiculous and I guess they don't know that there work procedure and efficiency are being judged here. We are not doing it intentionally but it is happening automatically.
for example we all have a complete idea now how to organize a perfect marriage according to their criteria...rt guys, if we have a known about to get married to Canadian pr/citizen, I guess we can tell them the perfect procedure, they will be getting visa in shortest possible duration. wat do you say guys

I am an October 3 applicant with no updates. Received the GCMS notes which we had applied mid June and there is a line which says "PA's medical is not scanning correctly a copy remains on the file". Everything else looks normal on the GCMS notes. Do you all think we should be proactive and mail CIC with a copy of this notes asking whether there is any issue with medical and should we do a re-medical? Has anyone else received this before??

Pl interpret that they would be asking for remedical and that time may ask for scan. Please wait for remedical letter from NDVO

I'm nov 6 2013 applicant, they have requested my passport in feb 1st 2014, but they have posted back my passport without any explanation or information by post yesterday!
I confused...,
My application was complete and all necessary docs were attached along with the submission of the application...!
Now I don't kno wat to do...
Any information and direction to me?

Did u got a request or u send ur passport withouth them asking?

Hey RKS....Where do you want the TREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its my time to say OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG..... Just saw the application status. It has changed to " IN PROCESS ". exactly after 10 months wait.

Application Received on 10th Sept 2013.
We started processing your application on 11th July 2014.
Medical Results have been received.

My ADR were requested on 11th June and they gave dead line to receive it by 11th july, though i sent the ADR on 11th June and they received on 16th June. So exactly after 1 month of their ADR mail , they started the processing of my file. Hope will get DM soon as i live in Chandigarh, can always opt to collect passport from local visa office.My medicals are valid up to 16th August 2014. Thanks to all the forum members for your commendable support. Cheers to all !!!!!!!!!!!

Congratz RockyS! As much as I am happy to know about your status change, I am beginning to worry more about mine..My ADR was submitted over 2months back and still no updates

that is wat .. "Just Lucky" and that cud be the lucky good reason apart from other reasons that he/she might be having.

Sure! we are genuine case so stay positive !!! .. no harm !!

There was a saying a person drives his own luck..but in ur case seriously heavens have open and showered u with rain that too in a desert..enjoyed ur married life buddy..Regarding mah case well me and Palaki we haven't yet recieved Ppr..

This gives us a hope that in our case too they might reopen the file after 30 days (although they received the documents within three days of sending ADR).

Seems like NDVO is trying to complete all the applications with the passport. Let's hope rest of us (2013 applicants) will be able to ride this wave.

Hey! I am joining this forum because it seems all the 2012 applicants have received their visa except me! :-X

November 2012 applicant AOR. March 2013, sent passport May 2013, medical expired July 2013 ..Interview approved February 2014, submitted new medical, new India PCC, Dubai PCC March 2014, submitted ANOTHER travel history July 2014..

My husband has a US visitors visa in his passport, so Immigration came back after 5 months of waiting and said that they need him to do another travel history, even though we provided the one on the application, as well as a separate detailed travel history with our application in 2012...

now important thing is that my medical s goin to get expire. ..n i want my husband to visit India ...n i want him to stay back with me till I get my passport. ...

is it important for him to stay in Canada wen I recv my passport with visa ? Or he can stay back with me n den we can fly to gethr..

He can come and very much stay with u for a month or so..I think it's just a matter of time say around 2 or 3 weeks and u vl get a visa..

He can stay with you as long as his permanent address does not change to an Indian address. If his address changes to a non Canadian address he will need to present a proof that he will be returning to Canada when you get a visa.

Thanks a lot, I have a gut feeling that they will open your file or might have opened already as there are another 15 days for you medicals to expire, there are chances that they will extend your medicals for few weeks to enable you to get time for preparation. Good luck!!

Hi,

I submitted my passport to New Delhi Visa Office on the first week of January and I havent heard anything back after that.

I have also enquired through the online NDVO link thrice in CIC website and they haven't replied at all.

Medical Done ? Sometime in April 2013
Application Sent to CIC ? Sometime in August 2013
Application Received at CIC ? 04-09-2013
Date of AOR Received ? 17-10-2013
Date of Sponsorship Approved ? Sometime in November
Date of File Transferred to New Delhi ? 06-01-2014

I am currently in Canada through work permit and CIC/NDVO are aware of it.

Please let me know when I may get my passport back with PR card.
