Hey guys.. this may come as a shock wave for some and a ray of hope for many that my wife got her IN PROCESS today.
We started processing your application on July 9th.
I am a December 03 applicant

today he received his Canadian passport. ;D..now he's ready to go just delay from my side...

Congrats dear and dont worry about yours, you will get it soon, as per past 6 months trend, NDVO takes 1-4 weeks after you get your re-med done

It is confusing me, I'm nov 6 2013 applicant, they requested my passport in feb 1st 2014, I'm not Indian, I'm from Afghanistan but student here, they kept the passport for more than 6 months, then today I got back my passport without Visa or any other litter to explain why they have sent back my passport!!! and even no email or updates in my profile!!
Good to be mentioned that we have submitted all the necessary docs, proves, and Medical Result along with the application in nov/6/2013 then they send passport request in which was written that we request the passport for the cases which are ready for visa issuing !!!
Is there any body to tell me what does this mean???

If interview is schedule before one week of medical expire
Wat r d chances of getting visa..

Do NDVO extend the medical and ask to fly on specific date or they recommend for re medical ...

To be honest with you if your medicals are expiring after 1 week of interview date, chances are rare that they will extend the visa, because first thing is interview, and i wish you pass it with flying colors. its totally upto the visa officer, they might ask you if you can travel by a particular date and then will extend the medical expiry or will handover you the passport or will will wait till the medical expires and will mail you passports and will ask for remeds

Medicals expire as of today. Nothing on Ecas other than the frustrating term Application Received . I wish NDVO works little productive.

I am sorry to see that buddy, but it seems like you are a Nov 29th applicant and they havent touched any nov files yet, What I would suggest you is if you still have passport get your medicals done and send a letter to ndvo after getting it done. so when they touch your file it doesn't get delayed any further

14 Months wait and Now all I received is a Letter saying I am not entitled for Visa under spouse sponsor category because Interview officer (Real Diane) is not Convinced with the proofs I submitted. If the proof were not sufficient then they should have refused in canada? why they approved my wife as sponsor and sent my file to India? and Why the another 12 months wait for interview?

By the way I submitted
Marriage certificate from Arya samaj mandir, marriage certificate issued by reGistrar of Delhi, wifes religion and name conversion certificate, photos, honeymoon trip tickets, 3 years whats app history, 3 years phone bill, 2 years skype call history, email from 2008 till 2014, gift receipts, gift photos.

& She was saying your relation is not genuine as your family was not present at the time of marriage and your mother will never approve her as your wife because she is older than you..!!

I thought canadian belives on living their own life but not orthodoxs life and insult somebody saying your wife is older and you will have medical issue one day with her. Wow
That's who I faced as my interview officer

We were already going through hell, last time I saw my wife in Jan 2013 (18 months ago) & the relationship is getting worse day by day and almost done. I thought everything will be fine once we are together but again we cannot because visa is refused.
That interview officer had no brain to see that we both married first time, we are in relation since 4 years, we talk 2-3 hours daily but because she is older then me which means relationship is not genuine..

this is insane, it seems like they have crossed all the limits, i can understand your suffering buddy. just appeal and get the things in order asap... Sorry again man

thank u sweetie...actually they didn't asked anything bcoz they know my child is already citizen then they just send the requirements for applying citizenship certificate. .they attach it to my remedical email. ..so we already hv his certificate so we send the copy of this to my remedicals receipt..so my sons procedure are different...so all things now sort out...hope this month finished my all worries..
