I have never been to new zealand and I have never been asked to submit any PCC from new zealand. But yes 3 and half months have passed after remedical and still no news...

After how much time of your baby's birth did you apply for the passport?? How did you do it and in how much time did you get it??

my baby is 6 months old...yes we applied passport in June and received it after 1 month.i was applied in chandigarh embassy..

there are 2 conditions to apply passport-
first one is if we hv his citizenship certificate then we direct apply passport. . (we applied certificate in feb they said it will take 12 to 18 months time. ..but we received it in just 4 months. .)
second is if we doesn't hv citizenship certificate then In dat case I was wait for my visa..with the proof of visa and also show them both of us tickets to travel. .then they issue limited validity passport which is valid for 2 years...
but with the proof of citizenship my baby's passport valid for 5 years...

NDVO has not sent any passport request to any Nov onwards applicants, the people who sent their passports are the one's who got confused the the general AOR email that NDVO sends

Abhishek, you and i are same timeline (Dec 2013). In your case, your spouse did send the passport to New Delhi right even though the AOR did not specifically ask for the PP? In my case, we did.

I am in Canada as a visitor and hope to get extension and stay here.

I just want to know where do I need to send the passport when I get PPR. Can I send to Delhi from Canada and receive it back in Canada ?

How does this work ? This will help me decide the type of application I need to put in.

NDVO has stopped asking for passport since the beginning of this year...they have changed the policy of asking for passport at the beginning of the process, now they will ask for passport at the end of the process....in the application form they have a question about foreign countries you had visited then you have to declare where you are now...generally outland has better options than inland since it is easier to appeal in case of rejection and is faster than inland...if any 2014 applicant had received a request for passport, please correct me...

If interview is required than You can find it in GCMS notes on page no 28 ...
It is in bold letters and the reason for interview is mentioned under the COMMENTS section ..

Hopefully the ADR submitted should suffice and they should start processing the file now..I have requested for another set of notes in the mean time...so the mystery and the anxiety continues...
