let's try this process step by step and if you are still having problem, then call center. click on this link

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp

click on continue; next page click on check box then click on continue; next page identification type choose client id number and enter all 8 digit number starting with '5' in my case; enter sponsor's family name; date of birth; and country of birth then click continue; next page under permanent application status you might see 'application received' or 'in process' or 'decision made' click on that and you will see details of current status...if these steps do not work then call CIC sometimes they screw up

This way I can skip two obvious and boring pages and jump straight to the main page where we input all the info.

Anyone of you can tell do they give any priority to professional people who are applying? How many people right now are from Engineering or any other professional background?

there is no priority given to any profession, race or ethnicity....

Its really getting frustrating every other day. Wen we get visa yaar. My time line is similar to you and get ppr in Jan. But my medical is abt to expire.

my status is IP now... wil it be a good idea to change my mailin address now? or is it too late?

in general how long do they take to update a new address?!

If you do a case specific enquiry or email them it takes 30-45 mins, but what you can try is calling their call center in canada to update the information

I am watching this forum for more than 4 months. Daily got bored with viewing application received in online status.
Checked my status it showing application received for permanent residence on Nov 24 2013.
If any november applicant get Ip here, pls let me know.

thank u to all the fellow members...without there help and support I was didn't do it..special thanx to bunny padda and his wife..today we are 2 members of this forum who done there remedical. .and first time meet to each other..these morons gave both of us 7 days deadline..duffers

I see few ppl gettin status changed so just curious if theres some other site to check the status thanks

Finally a ray of hope...My status changed to IP today.
I am Oct 17 applicant.

We had a bit of good news today, our application went into process!!!!

Our application was received at CIC Mississauga on October 15th, 2013.
It went into process on July 5th, 2014.

Now the wait for DM begins.
