Let see..

I am happy whatever the decision will be because my spouse is with me so I am concerned on my relationship, not on approval or rejection of my visa.

We don't need CIC approval...

Every one accepted our relationship so I am not real worried for CIC decision.

Canada is not the only country in the world.

Ur right rksandhu..even I'm too prepared for interview if I had..but atleast give a call or send letter of interview or by email so that some hope comes or change status online, I mean they should go ahead n do something rather than not doing anytime with our file..getting nothing making more worried..
My medical expiring on 5th August..I dnt trust NDVO til I recieve anything..stil 1month left to complete an year wen i submitted my file (8th August)
Ab to Bhagwan h miracle kar sakte ha YA NDVO miracle kar de by calling us or by any email..

You won't get any response directly from ndvo , it's when they decide to contact you . You have two options right now
MP inquiry ~ 3-5 days
Gcms notes - 30 days .

Fact is they will need your medical to issue visa . So let's say they ask for re - medical tomorrow , it's about another month and half procedure to get visa and passport after re medical .

When did your medical expire ? There's also chance they can extend .

It is good logical question. A reason why there were less files in Sep 2013. If you would have read the previous postings of the forum from the beginning you would have noticed the discussion revolving around the Strike. Earlier they were having their internal target of six months for issuance of visa which is now changed to 12 months. Six month long Canadian foreign workers strike came to settlement in Oct 13. Six months application of all categories were pending Oct and Nov 2013 saw inflow of many applications, normal situation in office environment slowly turning up put enrolment getting delayed. See mine is delayed a lot. First stage clearance Sponsorship approval delayed a lot to many. Now the speed is good. We see efficiency by quantity performed but in Govt service it is on the No mistake is performance. Govt official commence the process presuming the proposal is wrong and go on eliminate wrongs then only says it is okay, may be considered not looking at the positive side. This is the reason in our Spousal visa marriage is to be proved, relationship is to be proved, genuine marriage is put to acid test then he takes a decision to waive the interview which means every applicant is to go for interview is their design.
In this backdrop now look at your case you are Oct applicant Whatever happened to you should happen to all October applicants So in the forum logic is based on application date. Logic should be application recd date for sponsorship approval at CCI Canada and File transfer date at NDVO But there is no transparency in NDVO Hence application date is the base date in the forum. For your analysis you can consider both dates.
By September they should clear maximum files to show their overall performance is my gut feeling. So I feel there would be tremendous sanctions during July & Aug. You may get your visa in this flow if not by Sep.
Wish you all the best.

Excellent insights, Sunsweet.

I have one question:

you say they will try to clear all files by sept to show their overall performance to the parliament. By that token of argument, then by Sep 2014, all they need to do is show that all apps filed till sep 2013 has been cleared, right? Why would they need to gobeyond Sep 2013 to show their performance to the parliament as they have already set their 'processing time' as '13 months'?

Pl provide me your comments on this.
