there were two cases that he had rejected applicants after interview because they don't fit in with the conventional family style of marriage; 3 children; 2.5 mother in laws; cats and dogs; 1.3 house and 2.5 cars...idiots...yeah right!!since 2011 you carefully created an application with full proof measures like renting a house together; taking trips together; buying a car together; only thing you didn't do is get married then but married now...so if a person does not believe in marriage but does everything a married couple does and they live together for 14 years, this moron would think never mind you lived for 14 years but you are not married yet...if a person wants to cheat he/she can do it perfectly without raising any suspicions...morons...i am baffled you are married now so however you lived before the marriage how is it relevant to the case?

He was a visa officer... but at last he was a Sikh Person from the Indian origin... My preference was white person not an Indian origin person for the interview. They are smart on right side.

Indian officer are smart on wrong side..

Everybody knows; Indian origin persons are very rude. They feel they are the best immigration officer and smart officers.

reason is prejudice..they are supposed to leave their biases at home but they come and say things like 'oh you lead an alternate lifestyle and i don't like that; or you are gays/lesbians; your wife is older than you; etc' i am waiting for a day that it will go to the level of you are from south and i am from north; my brother was ditched by a girl from south so i am rejecting your visa....

Hello Aroundwrd99,
We all can understand your anguish, but are you generalizing about people of Indian Origion, in a forum where 99% people (I guess including you) are from Indian origin?

A friendly advise since you are planning to come to Canada; Please do not spread racism.

I am not the only one who is saying.. You can check other post where people had a very bad experience with an Indian origin visa officer.

That's the reality whether you accept or not.

whether smart or not; whether sikh or not (though this one has biasedness towards non conventional lifestyle); it is the fairness that matters; keep your prejudices and biasedness at home and judge based on documentation and facts..if he had told you not enough evidence to prove that this is a real relationship then i would accept it...
