Agreed. I too was in India with my wife for over 2 months from mid-Dec to Feb. I did not inform CIC or NDVO. It sounds absolutely weird that they will not allow people to even spend some time with their spouses.

Just go ahead and have a great time with your spouses. Don't let the fear of CIC's weird antics cause any more strains in our marital relationships. They already hurting a lot with the delays in the process. :-[

yes they are and seems they are heartless people. People who are working at NDVO must be all singles or miserable with their married life's which is why they are toturing innocent couples like us...lol.

you should email them whether they received it or not. Apply for the notes...wish you a speedy visa

How long it will take to receive passport from New Delhi to Hyderabad ? I got DM on Monday and still waiting for my passport....

Even I m waiting for my passport still since DM on monday? Did u get any call from NDVO to confirm ur mailing address?

Give it 7- 10 days and sometimes they mail it out after 3-4 days after Updating DM on E-Cas and then you can take 7-10 days after they mail it out

Any July applicant received a letter from NDVO to submit Job letter and banks statement to prove your presence in Canada ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Not I am aware of, But dnt be tensed. they just want the sponsor to be present in Canada (SHort visits to meet spouse still allowed). THey just want to make sure that sponser is not using govt funds to sponsor spouse and has a stable job and residence in Canada

Buddy they dont need these docs to veryfy financial capability, they just want to confirm sponser presence in canada after getting married as per their rules and also to make sure if sponser still have job and place to live in canada

As I have been reading, there is a time limit for how long we can go back to India for? I never knew that! ... is that for all Canadian PR holders and Citizens as well?.... why would they restrict us from being with our spouse (more than 2 weeks) while we wait for the process to be over!?... so weird.

DOnt worry about it as long as you still hold a job and a place to live in Canada. I know one of my friend who is july applicant and got the visa already and she went to india 2 times after marriage to meet her husband for atleast a month each time
