My lawyer has not received official interview notification from NDVO but from ECAS I know that the interview is on May 6, 2014. We have written two emails to them but so far no response. What should I do? My lawyer says I should go for interview even if I don't get official notification before May 6th and show ecas printout that interview has been scheduled but no official notification has been received. Second challenge I am having is I have asked for Tamil interpreter but since there is no official notification I have no knowledge of where I can find these authorized interpreters. Has anyone of you gone for interview using authorized Tamil interpreters? if so please contact me. Concerned about not receiving notification and not able to get through NDVO. I am feeling helpless and frustrated. This is causing lot of friction and fights between me and my significant other.

How can NDVO be like this to people? They seem soo lazy and makes us crazy about that. I understand that you are worried about it because its important. I believe they should be sending you a letter this month soon. Does your ecas say about time too? Dont be frustrated. You will be fine. You can make an MP enquiry if you still havent heard about the letter. I hope they can help you too. I am waiting for you to get visa after the interview. God bless you! :)

Hey guys, I was wondering if I can still get MP enquiry done, even if the MP seat is vacant from my area? Has anyone dealt with this situation before?

My MP (NDP leader Olivia Chow from Trinity-Spadina) is running for Toronto mayoral elections in October. Therefore, she resigned from her MP post in March. The by-elections for the seat are expected to be held only by August-September.

I hope NDVO works fast and I will not require to do an MP enquiry, but still, I want to know if I even have that option available to me.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but that will just help me in tracking the status of my application right?

Basically, I am pregnant, and my delivery date is in June, I really want my husband to be here for the birth of our baby...but i am SO confused as to what I can do! Thats why I went to my MP, told him my situation, 2 months ago, they sent my medical information to NDVO to see if they could do anytihng, they told us that they finalize over 80% cases in 6 months... this is month # 7 for our application- and my pregnancy. ???

I applied in September, and I know that a lot of July applicants are being approved, I also understand that there are not too many files for August and September, so Im hoping it will go through soon... but then I see that there are still applicants from June or earlier still waiting- and it makes me a bit nervous..

I spoke to a consultant and they advised me to do the Case Specific Inquiry, coz it gives me a place to enter my concern, and attach doctor's note, but I dont want that to hurt my application, coz I cant afford any more delay!! :'(

I know.... a lot of information. -__- *Sorry for the essay! ^

Hello

I totally understand about your situation. I cant imagine like that either. I have heard that ppl who are pregnant get visa early than longer because i know they do need some help from husband. Dont be depressed or stressed. Its not good for your pregnancy and be strong girl. They should send you a visa before your due date. Would you mind telling us your timeline here if you want to be added on the spreadsheet? Thanks. :) i pray for you to get the speedy visa and you will be reunited with your spouse again before your due date. God bless you! :)

I think you can still do an MP enquiry but its better for you to wait until they start working on September if you havent heard an update from NDVO yet. If you make an MP enquiry now, they will say its pending review. Have some patience.

Hello, thank you soo much for understanding and sympathizing with me, its so nice to hear ur words of wisdom. :) I am a Canadian Citizen, my husband is in India, we have been waiting for the last 7 months, I really hope they give my situation some consideration- and maybe expedite the procedure! Also, seriously I am so tensed and its so hard taking care of myself and going through this pregnancy while maintaining this long distance relationship with my husband- he's so upset that he is missing such an important part of our life! :(

Please, do update me on the Spreadsheet, and also send me the link/instructions on how I can view it as well? :)

Congrats and don't be upst as they have almost started with Aug applicants and Sept is not too far.... Also the office is taking Afghanistan applications, so it got busy and there are delays but don't worry I hope and pray that your husband would join you soon probably in couple of months...Did CIC has info about your pregnancy? If not, let them know...If yes, then of course you guys will be understood...So enjoy this time, happy mom means happy baby! So start looking stuff for the baby and your husband will be there...TC, eat healthy!

Hey what all did they ask you to do in remedical? I also got remedical and I was asked to do only chest xray. I didn't get my passport back for remedical. My main concern is the doctor didn't gave me anything to send back to New Delhi and said they would be forwarding everything. Is it the same for you?

Chest X-ray, blood test, Urine test and pretty much the whole medical exam. I didn't get my passport back either. I just took a print out of the re-meds email request along with me. I thought that would suffice ...and it did eventually. Along with my ID proof of course.

Yes, the hospital authorities will send the reports directly. However, I was asked to send the receipt of payment of medicals to my Attorney. He would then forward the receipt to the Visa Office for their records. All this is scheduled to happen within this week.

Hi,

I am second week feb applicant and yet no update from NDVO. I haven't recieve any AOR from them.
I am not sure if they have recieved my file or not yet.

Thanks
