Hey everyone. Does the New Delhi office request interviews for most/all spousal cases? or only those cases they're not sure are genuine?

Hey everyone. Does the New Delhi office request interviews for most/all spousal cases? or only those cases they're not sure are genuine?

Reasons for interviews are quick marriage, big age difference, difference cast,culture,backgrounds,traditions, different religions, second marriage(sometimes), parents not attending marriage, no receptions, no honeymoon, lack of communications etc etc....

Yeah, these are consider as RED FLAGS, every case is unique and different, numerous attempts to enter Canada is also consider is as RED FLAG!

Me: Sir you want to know about my family or my personal life? (I asked him coz what ever I was answering he was getting mad and was not satisfied, so I was making sure to answer him correctly)

Officer: bhench..d, don't you understand the meaning of background? ok let me ask you in your language (punjabi). Background matlab tera pichwada teri ga...dd.

I cant tell more it was so humiliating.

Whats wrong with these officers? .. I think he was mentally sick, he should be in mental hospital not at NDVO.

Been expecting Dm for more than a month now; Am i the only person who is waiting this long who got Ip without an Interview? been in IP from feb 21st.

This is surely the worst wait ever in my life.

I am in process since Jan 30... no interview.... Just waiting for the visa to be stamped on the passport.... NDVO was supposed to get back to my file today according to the NOTES.... but still ECAS just showing IN PROCESS... Expecting they might have started working on it....

NDVO = New Delhi Visa Office/Officer
PPR= Passport Request
IP= In-process (application in process)
DM= Decision Made (on your application)
ADR = Additonal Document Request
MP inquiry = Member of Parliament inquiry (Canadian)
AP- Application Recieve

Got it. I was just wondering because my case is pretty straight forward and no red flags, but has recently been transferred to NDVO from ISL. So I was wondering how/where they will conduct the interview if need be...but hopefully there isn't any!

WOW. He has no reason to act in such a derogatory manner! This is insane. I hope you appeal and also file a complaint about this officer!

so how does one answer questions that are considered as red flags..for example I see you have tried for tourist visa twice and they were rejected..this shows you want to settle there permanently through legal/illegal means...why should I approve your PR visa? I see your wife is older than you. Why did you marry a much older canadian PR holder?

They call for interview even if there was no Honeymoon I was in India for 3 weeks for my wedding and I didn't go for honeymoon, i have also mentioned in the application that i was in india for a short period and didnt get chance to go. crap!

Picked up passport with visa today from CHC.. Also the status changed to DM today!
Cant believe... Its an Awsome feeling after waiting for 20 lonnnggg months.. Was a really ruff journey with immigration,.. well all well that ends well.
