hi dear, if u apply notes then does it shows the reasons of why interview is required? ....thanks dear...

last two pages of notes will show why visa officer feels an interview is recommended....some people in this forum have found that no reason was given...

I can't understand, why the Medicals information is not updated on eCas for some people. We actually had 'medicals received' since the time we received the eCAS access. I am wondering if I have a reason to cheer here?

ecas is often not reliable and takes its own time to update....sometimes people find that even after landing ecas still shows decision made....

I assume they called you to confirm your mailing address. 3 times missed? if they don't call you again they will mail your passport automatically...

Seems surreal. After over 11 months of patiently waiting, a change in status:


We received your application for permanent residence on March 18, 2013.

We started processing your application on February 22, 2014.

Medical results have been received.


Now for some more patience. Any guesses for how long?

Glad to know that your application changes to IP, it takes 1-4 weeks now to get DM, best of luck.

Find out your local area MP, call or e-mail them with all your application details, some MP's may call sponsor to their office to sign consent form and some MP's doesn't, usually MP's reply in 1-4 weeks time, best of luck.

Is your medical report expired? do they ask for re-medicals ?

Medicals expired alright, but I haven't received a notice for re-meds yet. Perhaps they would provide extension on the validity or send me a notice in the near future. My guess is as good as anyone's here.
