Currently June applicants are being processed so October will take some time for final decision. If your wife is pregnant then she should mention the same at the time of medical & refuse for x-ray. Pregnant women are generally allowed to travel till 5 months. Post which they need to take medical practicioner's certificate to travel. But these practices are different for different airlines & she should read the policy of the airline with which she is flying at that time.Peerzad said:Hey guys,
I am sponsoring my wife from Afghanistan. when I filed her applications back in October 2013 we didn't include Medicals, we thought there is no point to do it, since her application was suppose to be processed in Islamabad Pakistan (32 Months Processing times). We got the good news when the sponsor got approved , we received email that it will be processed in New Delhi India, soon after that we got passport request... Can my wife do her meds now, or should she wait for med request from NDVO?
Also until which month can a pregnant woman is allowed to travel during her pregnancy?
Thanks
It's recommended for pregnant women not to travel post 6months as compressed atmosphere in flight can cause uncomfortable conditions & can also result in early labour inflight. (I can say this as I hav worked with an airline). Rest u can take calculated decision by seeing all pros & cons.
