i got call from ndvo for interview but my ecas show still app rcvd how it possible...?

Yes it will remain as application received, however after couple weeks it will be update with the interview date. I think after interview is done it will change status to in-process depending on how interviews goes.

Thank you Forum members - erstwhile and current. My wife got the visa and CIC has updated the status. It was scary because they gave us all our papers and her passport after the interview and we thought the worst. I flew down after just 20 days back to India for the interview and they did not even talk to me.. My flight back to Canada after less than 2 days was not quite enjoyable.... Then it all changed.....After we submitted the required papers, they asked for the passport again and gave the visa....

Wow super happy for you! What a long processing for you. Congrats!!!! You are so lucky that you got the visa so quick. Did you do re medical yet or did they give you an extension for the medicals? Have a happy married life and god bless u both. Thanks alot for the luck. We need it.

I think you should wait for sometimes and try your MP for an enquiry about the interview date. Be strong! Good luck.

Does anyone know, how does ND high commission contact applicants after approval and rejection of TRV.
my wifes TRV application status says, passport processed. please collect it. I am nervous if it is approval or rejection. They did processing in 4 days including weekend. ??? ???

Got a generic response from my MP's office. Man the inability to grasp this situation is unbearable. How can they move on from one month to another without doing something about the existing and most deserving past applicants. Honestly I hate NDVO at this point.

Many congrats!! That is really fast from IP to DM. Hope you get your passport soon too No need to worry what they state on ECAS. It is generic response.

I think the decision made you have is for sponsor's approval. They haven't looked at the application yet. Otherwise, it would say: We have started processing your application on DD-MM-YYYY
