A very small update on my side is that they updated yhat medical results have been received.

Anyone waiting for IP for so long and got meds updated, what happened later or how quick? Please help.

i got phone call on 16 January from NDVO .they asked me some questions like ...birth dates ..... still no upadate .ecas status same ...medical result received and application received . dont know what next ...it has been 8 months since i submitted my application .....GOD KNOWS :-\

it seems its good news and you going to hear an update very soon. All the bestt! Dont worry!

Congratulations Suban. Very happy for you. I personally think NDVO owe you a big apology for sending the passport back for remedicals without telling you in the first place. Wish you all the best for your married life. Hope you can put NDVO into the past and move on.

Finally the killing wait is over. Passport having maple leaf sticker is on the way to Kathmandu. My wife is already there in the capital city to collect it. Impatient to see it. I first time applied for my husband (family class) from Bangladesh and I am permanent resident.
At that time visa office made phone call to my address (one of my relatives address I used) to check whether I am residing in Canada or not.

My relatives informed I am in Bangladesh. As a result they cancelled my application and refused it; as there is a clause to residing in Canada.

I am a sponsor with a Canadian PR card..all the correspondences and phone calls goes to my lawyer in Canada...I ordered notes three times and in all of them it says 'passport request' not started yet and there is nothing mentioned about passport request sent in end notes (last pages of notes)I think it is the sponsored person who gets the passport request if I am not mistaken...
