I woke up with a call and this guys like hi im from new delhi Canada high commission happy to tell u that we have issued your visa .....wld u like to come to delhi to pick it up or do u want us to send it by registered post...........so I told him to post it to me and asked him how many days he said max 1 week...........then he said but u need to fly before 7th feb...........I was like im leaving 23rd night its my anniversary he started laughing ......congratulated me and confirmed my address and full name....I asked him when are they dispatching my pp he said tom morning ..................and there it goes im the HAPPIEST WOMAN ON EARTH ........MIRACLES DO HAPPEN and with so many prayers and blessings .........im goin to be there before my 1st anniversary OMGGGGGGGGGG im still shivering ......... ;D ;D ;D I hope each and everyone of u go thru this feeling ...........finally after waiting 9 months of application I got my visa I made it thru this crazy stressful ride u guys are the best thing happened to me. :-*...love each and every single person here and pray for each one of u to get the visa ASAP...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm new at this Forum, I have applied for Canada spouse visa in June 2013, File transferred to Delhi embassy on 26 July 2013, Passport requested on 19 Sept 2013 (passport received in embassy on 25 Sept 2013), Still they are showing my application status "Application Received", I'm still waiting for answer, please share your views...

i am planing to apply notes but i hve problem i am in india and my sponsor is in toronto so last night we were applying but we confuse which name we have to put fill the form my name or my sponsor name can my sponsor apply behave of me? do i need to write any consent letter or not? do i have to inform this to my lawyer ?

wohoo......oh finally...wow the NDVO gave you special treatment finally they must have got really fedup with your letters....lol that is amazing......does your ecas still show as IP still? So it was basically waiting and they did not update the ecas....congrats
On a second note my wife also received the passport today....she has till march 15th 2014 to enter......

1. Download the consent form IMM 5744. This should be completed by the spouse in India, and the "designated individual" is the spouse in Canada who is requesting the GCMS notes. Check both the boxes in section 4 of the form, and sign it
it has to be signed by u and your hubby in Canada

Consent Form IMM 5744 -
Your Full Name --- Principal Applicant's Name
You Spouse or Common in law -- sponsor name
Your designated Individual Name -- One who is sponsoring
Your declaration -- both YES checked
Your Signature -- Principal Applicant's Signature

whoever is a canadian resident can only apply...sol the one who is sponsoring has to be the one aplying and to get the consent form from your spouse in india
