Hi,
i am new member and posting here. I am already in India for 2 months and now i am with my wife. i want to Go back to Canada with my wife. i married last year and applied immigration papers to Mississauga CIC on this year. my wife sent her passport to NDVO on April. I hope my wife will get PP soon. I got very bad, sad and hard time when I applied my mom's sponsorship. She was waiting the immigration papers more than 4 years and suddenly passed away. I lost my mom. More than 8 years I am in Canada "alone" . Have a nice weekend guys.

As per the news the Stike is still going on and they are saying that now all immigratin officers have walked out in New Delhi

I think they have used different language above - if you read their official news- its escalated withdrawals not all officers. Check visitor forum, ppl are still getting pp request for visa
But what a classy way to blackmail, not good to have this much power

Today I for my GCMS notes and as expected, the mail that was sent to my spouse without the attachment was a "Passport Request".
I am still waiting for NDVO to get back to me regarding case enquiry. Would submitting my passport with attached GCMS notes be a good idea?

Also, I wanted to ask that apart from the email for PPR, has everyone got a letter at home address for the PPR as well? or the correspondence is just through email?

Plz send us a payment received, if you done police report submit, and submit your passport from delhi embassy now my question I done alredy with this application why they ask me they also mention after the requirement they will issued a visa plz help me my wife in thailand and she holding Indian passport should she go to india because difficult to send a passport to india is illegal to send urgent help plz

U can send pp through someone with authorised letter. It's clearly stated in notes of passport... Best of luck

My husband also got only an email for his passport request. He did not get any letter by mail.

Email is a formal request letter. You will not get any other letter. I had also received only email.

I read this article and as per this only foreign personnel have went on strike. Local personnel will be working regular hours and it should have minimal impact on our applications

Don't do that, you need to send the letter from them

Yes I can agree to that, imagine the # of files in Delhi - you think there gonna be so many Canadian officers?, imagine them reviewing the number of files per minute. After going back and forth with ND, and personal experience for student visa in 1999 - they were all locals

Really thank one big problems my wife thailand visa getting also expired next month she need renew also it took 2 month is it ok we send passport delhi after 2 month is no problems kindly help

Yes ND ask for the Passport in the beginning of the process. Time given by my immigration lawyer was 1-90 days to request for passport by ND VO
