I am January Applicants still waiting for ecas changed to be Decison and Passport Return My Medical Expires on 13th January. Lucky April- May Applicants and congratulations who have visa and DM.

I had to bear the wrath of wrong email, do case specific but they are very very very bad at correcting it, even after acknowledging it, they never corrected it

this is an example of ultimate stupidity..morons rule the world....they should hire robots (efficiency improves for sure) at least they give a robotic response (press 1 or speak slowly...I am sorry I cannot understand your accent please try again or try learning to speak like me..nanoo..next...) instead of rude people with attitudes

Hey friends..I got DM yesterday. I checked my status yesterday and found it was decision made. I wonder how did the status change on Sunday..so I checked it again today to reverify.. now I am waiting for my passport..
Does DM mean that my visa is approved??

I wish everyone best of luck.. my god unite each one of us soon with our better half. I understand how hard it is for us to wait for this day..

In process: 16th December 2013
Decision made: 5th January

Congrats! Now I hope you get your pp back soon. And yes DM means approval or they would have called you for an interview if they weren't sure of your marriage being genuine.

another update in my ecas.
medical results recvd today.

went to ip on 27dec and started processing file on 19th dec.
any idea how long to get dm?

Getting DM is totally up to the NDVO officers. But on average, the IPs are changing in less than 3 weeks. So good luck!

Anniversary is Feb 9th Hope ur words come true
The last GCMS said Only eligibility passed. But after my notes my meds were updated on ECAS, so I think the only thing remaining is criminality & security.

looking at my notes, i am scratching my head ....I submitted my application electronically (even the photos) then it went to CIC from there what happens? do they send electronic version to New Delhi? then create a printout and mail them? then why my notes says 'paper file' for this form or that form received on such and such date? so do they do like in India. If you buy something, some stores enter amount, quantity etc electronically then they write it down in a book of what they sold (unless they want to have sets of two different versions of how much money they made, this does not make sense)

No this doesn't show any red flags. And if they call you for interview, then they are suffering from mad cow disease, foot-in-mouth disease or someone slap me disease.

in one sentence, you have managed to insult a cow, baby and (in)sane person by comparing visa officer to all these beings...one thing is certain NDVO won't get nominated for 'Mother Theresa compassion award'....

Honestly I have no idea how you submitted everything electonically? I am not aware of such a metjod to apply in the least. Or are you talking about barcodes that are generated when you fill the forms on the computer?

And what about physical photos? Maybe you submitted everything to your lawyer and they printed it out before sending it to CPC-M?

Just send your Passport with copy of your notes (pages that mention travel document requested). Make a cover letter and mention that you missed your ppr.
Write down your name, file number, phone no, address. More info is better.

Thanks for the quick reply, could you also share the address I need to send the passport to? Since I never received any PPR, I do not have the reference. I want to be extra careful about sending this document to these people. Thanks so much!
