Everyone in this forum trying to help each other. Anupams question was straight forward. His question was if u didnt quite understood "are u in india with ur spouse leaving work in Canada?". I know ur are frustrated unlike any other person in this forum but dont just take things in negative sense. Just chill and wish for speedy visa.

i thnk we r all different but in the same boat so is it matter where we are from let us appreciate those in the forum clearing all our doubts

Suban...I understand your frustration and you probably faced this kind of question constantly..that question was innocent and not shows dominance of one country over another. This reminds me when I went to university in the U.S. bunch of Indian guys were talking and one white American asked a guy who he thought was Indian too 'are you from India too?'..this guy from Pakistan went off ballistic, yelled and scolded this guy 'you think India is only country in South Asia? do you know history? are you ignorant?' poor American, embarrassed, ran away from the scene

People assume things..North Indians assume all people from the South speak Hindi; French speaking Quebecois assume everyone speaks French; if i live among Hispanics they assume I speak Spanish; Middle Easterners assume all Indians are Muslims..list goes on..so questions are mostly innocent

if you live in Brampton, Toronto, you are a Punjabi of course..if you live in Scarborough, you are Sri Lankan, of course...this reminds me of my trip to rural Mexico where someone thought I was a Hispanic and said something in Spanish to which I replied in English that I don't speak Spanish well...then he spewed four letter words in Spanish..I said in Spanish 'I understand that well. Do you want me to add more words?'

My hubby is pr in canada,we got married on 15 march 13.i applied on 1june.got my passport
requet on 3 sep 13..delhi office received my pp on 9 sep 13..till date noting happned...can anyone pls tell me hw long this will take.evry single day i m waiting....crying.nothing happning

Don't cry. June applicants have not really been started yet. There was only one person outside of the forum who got in process status. Hopefully, once all the Jan-May apps received and IPs change to DMs within this month, they will start with June applicants. So take it easy, your application is nearly there. Good luck!
