that's awful waiting for 11 months for passport request...did they miss sending requests or you missed their emails? I understand it is a long process but lack of transparency makes it harder and some lucky guys get their visas in 6 months or 8 months makes it much harder (nothing against who got their visas early and without problems) to deal with.
