Guys...with VarunKumar, I honestly feel it is a communication issue and he is having difficulty conveying what he intends to say. 1 WEEK NO NEWS....im sure they working.....ppl have been getting calls to pick pp or to submit their pp for visa.or asked to do re-medicals............I hope they work a little faster and start processing new files now !!

HI Myrah! Just to update you, I received an email last week(Nov 19th) from NDVO to submit my passport before Jan 3rd. I submitted it this morning. My file went to 'in process' on Nov 8th. Im hoping to hear some good news soon.

P.s. This was my second passport request as I had called my passport back after the 1st time I had submitted it.

Another question...sorry can't help....the more you think the more questions you have. Does it make any difference whether your sponsor is a PR or a citizen in Canada?

its doesn't make any difference if sponsor is pr or Canadian each one is treated equally .....and.....also depends on what context u asking this for?

Thanks that whats I expected. The lady I told you about in my PM, her husband is a white Canadian so she was like it does make difference. My husband was a PR when we filed our application. He became a citizen recently so.....started wondering if there is a really a plus point to it

So we are planning to apply for GCMS notes in the month of Dec cz it usually takes a month or so to get a reply back. Can anyone who applied please tell me the process.
My hubby is a PR in Canada. Also about the consent forms that i need to sign, does that need to be sent to immigrations in canada if my hubby applies for it online? Or do we need to upload softcopy of the consent letter while applying for GCMS online?
