we applied for the PR on oct 15

cleared sponsorship eligibility on 28th oct

meds were submitted wid application.

ppr on 12th nov - sent by 14th nov.

current status : application received + meds received.

Hello,

I sponsored my husband on April 7, 2013 and they requested his passport and they received it on May 3. Since then we have only been seeing application received on the cic website. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. I contacted my MP a month ago and was advised that my file was still in initial review.

Could you please explain if bring forward date for final review for a file is on Nov 17, what does that mean? The file is currently In Process. assuming everything is well, how soon can i expect visa?

yeah I can never understand the order...there are like a number of 2012 people and some the same time frame have gor the visa and there are some in may who have got the visa this is ridiculous....talk about equality

welcome to the in process club....they have started your processing of the application I guess...I am also in process since 1st Nov 2013. The next will probably be DM and then the visa. I have seen variable times like 20 days but I have seen it take a month and a half as well.

DDP2299, after in process, it has taken people 1 week to 2 months and sometimes longer. the average is 2 weeks.

Hello anupam, hash1 and SC89,

I hate to break this to you but I am one of the oldest member of In Process club, I beat all of you when it comes to In Process date. My wife's file actually went In Process on Sept 18th. I have been waiting for more than 2 months for DM to come. This information was given to me by my MP. So I just want to make sure what this final review actually means. I have also applied for GCMS they havent arrived yet so I am not sure where to see that information.

any ideas on this Bring Forward Date for Final Review statement? what it means?

Hi Myrah.. i think its time we stop adding new members to the sheet. we reached the end of year already and lets not try to add ppl who submitted application in march and joined forum last week...its good to have more ppl but you also should'nt overburden yourself by requesting missing information and they dont respond on time... so lets freeze the sheet....only updates to existing rows will be better and new additions should be a new sheet for 2014.

to what i think BFD is the date that the vo will be prompted to open your file again so I think after Nov 17 which has already passed u shld hear something that means this month u shld get DM ..plus..u waiting for your notes..right? so I think u shld get some info of whats goin on with your file....hoping to hear good news from u very soon....

ya prasamp I think we are done with newbies now.... running after them to give details and they don't respond......we are 280 ppl now on SS from jan-oct I think that's a good amt of ppl lets freeze it and update all the ip and dm's now will just add new ppl from nov- dec if we have any.....
