NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Just want to get some suggestions on which flight/route/airlines is better ........better in the sense that not much luggage troubles or not much hastle when going thru haults in between .....cuz i heard some of the people get troubled at the Delhi airport as well as Mumbai airport by customs people......m gonna fly form gujarat .....let me know if anyone has any experience with any of them

u shld go with Itihad airlines which is direct from ahmedabad to abu dhabi and from there to Toranto (YYZ) ..no trbl at all so many frnds of mine has gone thrw this routes.

every second day mrng around 4.40 or smwr arond flight sheduled for abu dhabhi...

Thanks for asking waiting2exhale... but I think I am good for now... There are sadly not many updates this week so far compared to about 2-3 weeks ago. I am sure this is like a calm before a storm of IPs and DMs.

Yup, you are right about it being crowded with too much info and no consistency. I m just wondering if I should just put which month the forum member applied, so if anyone wants more info, they can look them up on the spreadsheet to see about IPs, DMs and PP rreturns? What do you think? I am trying to figure out what is most efficient... So far, having updates per day listed at the end of the week works. I think getting feedback on what the forum members think is most useful right now would also help.

I follow this principle with my significant other - KISS (Keep it simple, sweetie..some people use the word stupid which is not nice). Glad I specified who this principle is addressed to ..otherwise there will be misunderstandings and trouble....lol...I think your idea is good just keep it the way it is and anyone wants to know more details he/she can look at the spreadsheet and get more details. It is better to update either on Sunday when no more updates are added

Thanks SN0206! I am actually hoping everyone before me gets their visas quickly so that the VOs can start looking at July applicants... It's still a long wait for them to look at my paperwork and the waiting is getting boring. But I am enjoying the great company between friends on this forum. At least I can try to be more productive than NDVO right now while we are all waiting, and make some great friends along the way.. ;D

Hi RJ, the day just started so there are no IPs, DMs, or any other news from NDVO as yet. But we are all hoping for some news soon. Don't worry, you aren't the only one who has application received as the status. I am sure you will hear something soon. Did you talk to your MP or apply for GCMS notes?

No, I don't think they should get irritated. We are paying them for that information and they will be putting that money into their pockets. Plus, I think I heard somewhere that it is the Ottawa office that takes out the information and not NDVO so I don't see why they would be irritated. More likely, they will remember that your file is in processing and needs to be finished with.

Aw..thats true about the last line..it keeps you company with ppl and whats going on with their files as you can know when your next is coming. Its helpful to make you calm and positive too. Im glad that you are in our forum and help each others and so time will fly by quick. After that you will get a good news soon. The wait will b over then. No one like waiting like this..hopefully NDVO will complete on jan to april applicants soon and so on...btw you r too sweet about company with friends on this forum.

my pp request is somewhere in NDVO's la-la land and my mp is intelligently-missing between his ears (brain is missing) his lovely assistant told me that my file is ok (based upon inquiry done two months after my submission) but nothing started yet (and don't contact us until well into the process like January). Twice ordered notes had those golden shiny words 'nothing started yet' as far as PP or anything else

if they are that organized then we would all get our shiny visas in four months of applying...your ordering has no bearing on your applications. CIC in Canada has access to your files and they do the notes processing and they do want your $5 to improve Canadian economy
