Hi,
I had once been refused vistor visa for USA.In backround declaration as per me it would be considered under refussal of visitor visa to canada or any other country (under Q6d).It is also confusing me with Q6e wherein it states have u ever been refused admission,or ordered to leave canada or any other counrty ??

I got a shiny visa today!!! Not my husband Canadian visa though... GOT MY Indian PIO!!!! ;D I'm not only a Canadian citizen now... I'm also a Person of Indian Origin!!! Youpie!!! If we have trouble with CIC... We now finally have a country where we can live together for the next 15 years!!!
Now nothing can stop me to fly to India as soon as we get the call for Interview... No request for touristic visa anymore!!!! NDVO call us, I'm ready!!!!

thnx a lot.. sure, i will let u know what's going on. right now my wife is going to kathmandu to authorise VFS to bring her pp. she will pay the fee and sign the letter at 1pm. everything is well prepared from our side

You were simply refused US Visa under 6D YES
You were not ordered to leave ( which means you were in some country and they asked you to leave ), or refused admission ( as in told to go back after landing at US or any country airport ) under 6E NO

Why PIO, OCI is better

Because I'm not a citizen of India. I'm 100% Canadian. The only thing I could get is a PIO under spouse application. My marriage is the only link between me and India, no family members or relatives from India.

I submitted my wife's passport for visa on Oct/3/2013. When shall I expect to receive it back?

My wife is travelling outside India in the end of Nov/2013. What's the process of getting the passport back whether stamped or unstamped?

We have submitted my husband passport in March and still waiting, not even in process so your wife is better to change her plan or try to contact NDVO ASAP to try to have it back. This will be very tight to get it back before end of November...

I received my gcms notes today exactly after one month.
Only medical passed rest eligibility, criminality, security status not started.

Also I want to change my phone number which cic has captured.... any suggestions friends?

I guess thy r going to take another 2 to 4 months for my file....

hey i would suggest dont make any changes at the moment. We have seen cases where acc to gcms nothing was started and all of a sudden they got dm within few days i guess 15 to 20 days. So any changes made now may delay the process. U r april,applicant and april applucants are getting updates now. So hopefully few more days. Good luck.
