in 2013 it hasn't happened as yet.....if u r in IP u get dm..........

but I did read on forum 2011 one guy got in ip then dm and for 22 days no passport back.....meanwhile he thru a big party for his visa...and then after 25 days he got a letter with his pp back from ndvo that his visa was rejected.....

I am new to this website and have found it very helpful. I have some questions about my own case. I am a Canadian born citizen. I was living with my spouse until the end of September this year. Here is my timeline:

September 3 2013- Application received at CIC. AOR email came on September 11 2013.
September 19- Received email that Sponsorship approved in CIC and sent to New Delhi.
October 11 2013- PPR
October 18 2013- PP received in Delhi by stamp.
eCas still says Application Received and that medical results have been obtained. Medical was done before sending application.

I found out I was pregnant with our first child. So I came back to Canada to continue my pregnancy in Canada. Where I feel comfortable. I came near the end of September. I sent an enquiry to Delhi telling them about our change of situation and also changed my address through the online form they have.

I just want to know if this is a abnormally fast request for passport and if it's a good sign that the passport was requested so quickly. Also that CIC approved the sponsor side so quickly.

Just some detail about our relationship. It is a love marriage. We got married this yr in March. We had known each other 3 years prior to the marriage. I believe we sent a lot of good proofs. We had a big wedding with many relatives from both sides of the family.

I'm just praying he gets to be here for Christmas. But my prayer is that my Husband is here before the birth of our child. Also he has some travel history from Vacations to Thailand and Singapore etc.

What do u guys think? Oh and I'm due end of March. Also should I send some pictures of ultrasounds etc at this point? Or wait?

Do you know what was the reason behind rejection.i have never seen a spousal case being rejected without an interview.

so decision made does not necessarily means 'right decision made' it means some decision has been made but we won't tell you till you see your passport...well at least they sent his passport back...this is true example of insanity (webster dictionary should use NDVO as an example for the word 'insanity'). They don't even give an explanation as to why visa was rejected. People should be careful when they throw a party. Get your passport first, check for visas, send a letter to NDVO asking is it truly over and will you sent us a withdraw my visa approval back letters and then only throw a party...

yaar what to say......if I had my way I wld make sure we all were in Canada long time bk...........by dec they have to clear all backlog till may at least......I hope they succeed ..........how much ever we curse ndvo its not goin to make any diff to them.........they will continue to do what they are doin and how they are doin.........we can just sit helpless waiting each day that maybe today our e-cas will chg...........btw Pakistan is gone to 32 months now and Singapore is gone to 28 months..........that's really crazy......

This week has been really slow!! :'( The wait was as it is very long and now the processing time extends to 12 months...really frustrating..I don't know when will all this trouble end.

Hi Jones,
Today i got my 2nd GCMS note.
1 Q in that.
Medical date which was 1st updated, its status is now cancled.
and 2nd medical date opned.
and its due date is 22nd nov.
so in every section 2 medical parts are there. once with cancle status and 2nd with not started.
It seems any problem?

passport request is not abnormal for you but considering that you got a request then one headache is over...but there are more steps that are there before you get your shiny visa..as for expecting to get visa by Christmas, it maybe little bit unrealistic to expect to get visa given your timeline

getting done with stage 1 is pretty fast its very normal..........once the file goes to ndvo is the real wait.......reality is that Christmas is next to impossible for u im looking at april may 2014 for u.........processing time of ndvo is now 12 months........ppl from 2012 are still waiting for their visa's.........too much backlog.....hope u r lucky and he gets the visa before the childs birth......good luck dear

and btw sending them anything abt the baby will not get your process faster.....ndvo is HEARTLESS.... SOME ppl from forum reached only after their baby was born and missed the birth.....no matter how many emails they send or did mp enquiry....

According to the spreadsheet created by myrah average wait time for dm after ppr is 160-230 days.most of the April applicants are getting dm around160 days after ppr.
