its definitely not going in chonological order.

There are still Jan/Feb/Marc applicants waiting for updates while some of the April and May applicants have received their DMs....so there is no flow.

Hey Zorma any luck? did you get your notes?

yes im application recd and medical recd...after this the 3rd step is in process.......

Thanks Myrah7

So I guess the steps
Permanent Residence
1.We received xoxoxoxo application for permanent residence on date

2.We started processing xxxxxx application on date

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on xxxxxxxx application. The office will contact xxxxxxx concerning this decision.

5.xoxoxoxox entered Canada at Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 date and became a Permanent Resident.

So medical results and in process can be interchanged? I guess ghar ki kheti hai...which ever order they want...lol

Hi All,

I recently heard about this forum from a friend of mine, and found some very useful information and experiences so far. I'd like to post about the situation I'm in and would appreciate any help.

I am currently a full-time post graduate student in BC, Canada. My course ends in 2 months, after which I am eligible for a 3 year work permit. Immediately after obtaining the permit, I intend on returning to India and get married to my girlfriend before moving to Ontario in March.

As soon as I reach India, we would register the marriage and then apply for her Spouse Visa, which entitles her to get a work permit. Now as per my research, she should get the visa for the same duration as mine. Could someone please inform me about how long the process for her visa takes? I know that the website says 30 days if you apply online, but does reality paint a different picture? I'd love to know about similar experiences or if someone is in the same spot.

Hi Diya, don't think this is possible. The MPs rep whom I spoke to here in Canada said they dont allow people to just walk in like that. Otherwise almost everyone will be lining up in front of the embassy!

Yaar dont worry, if your interview has been waived, processing will start shortly.

one of our forum member tried going into NDVO, it was unsuccessful. They will not allow anyone in without an appointment. My suggestion would be, email them once and send a letter through a lawyer. They usually reply back to a lawyer quickly, but usually its a standard letter. So basically waiting patiently is the best think in my opinion.

Thanks Ankgs. You applied on 28th Jan, 2013. Our timelines are similar. Have you tried contacting them anyways. What answer did you get?
