Before I pack up from work today...i just wanted to share with every1 know how useless these MP offices are .(im sure a lot of ppl might disagree..but this is my exp so far)

So I asked my MPs office to do an enquiry on my file on friday...and the first thing the lady told me was ..please wait for 11 months..and then i told her ...noo i dont have to..ppl get it before 11 months etc etc...she goes..."they are lying...just to make other ppl jealous". I srsly could not believe my ears!! I had a long convo with her on this.

Anyways..long story short...they got back to me..telling me.."hey medicals are good till next year...ur passport was received on June 3rd....goood luck" ....is this something

So i contacted a friend of mine who works for CIC..and he was able to get me A LOT more info than this MP's useless office!

Maybe its just my MP's office ...but i have received zero help in this case.

Wow wah an mp!! I wish they could help us but i guess gcms is good idea to have it so u can look for it. I dont noe if mp would help me with this reason medical expires soon nxt week. So thinking abt applyin gcms. Anyhow so lucky u hv someone u noe who work for cic. So what did ur friend say abt yours???

My MP's office said stuff along the same line as yours.....so my MP's office is just as bad.....or perhaps we have the same MP lol

My friend was the one who told me...NDVO reviewed my file..and interview waiver was recommended...plus they find the marriage legitimate etc etc..so no issues there. Just waiting on the damn security check....but definitely some progress made after strike!
So NDVO is definitely working on files at a much faster pace than before the strike........hang in there every1!

Thats really sucks. I didnt expect mp to say that and not helping with cases. O wells have a hope up and check gcms. All the best!

looks like a lot of ppl having bad experience with mp.........not sure if I even wanna try .........I guess notes apply kardo......but no harm trying mp..its just faster.....meanwhile apply for notes...u will get an idea whats up with your application.... hopefully pray u get your ip this week though

Thats good u have a friend to support you for that. So you might get it soon.

aren't mp suppose to help ppl? infact easy way saying 11 months not up tc goodbye what the hell..

Yeah my notes should be coming out next week.....curious to see how far my file has moved since it's still stuck at "Application Received"

Ye im worried what mp would say if i ask for another enquiry but it gotta be a reason for my medical expires soon. I hope i get update this weeek. Sigh* thankss. When r you planning to get gcms?? I guess we both r the one who havent applied yet.

no worries,.. here go my tale.. .when i went to their office, telling its been 6months my status says app received...even medical not updated... the response was "If medical is not good, they will send you another medical request when nearing completion of process". i was like gawd.. my question was why they havent looked at my medicals submitted along with application...do i miss anything in docs etc... she was very hesitating to help... then i said okay is it possible for you to check ? else no problems... then she took the dtails and this was friday eveing 5pm.. and monday morning 930am call... ur file is awaiting initial review. matter ends..

Hey Zormas....any change in status?

No change in status....i think it will be another week or 2 before i see any e-cas update..as my PP was received on June 3rd.
I am not going by Application File date.

@myrah...trust me they just go by the book.In the book it says 11 months....thats it. Their Braincells dont work beyond this information.
