Thanks Myrah ... You have been a lucky charm for me ... I have been waiting to see my husband for 11 months now and things were getting delayed due to stupid strike but as soon as I joined this forum the things took a speedy turn and as you know I might the visa soon.

Do not worry. in some cases it takes couple more days..in my case my wife got the Passport Today.
My wife visa were issued on 17th October and she received the passport on 28th October.

myrah my husband has travelled to Saudi, and he works in Kuwait at present, you think it takes long to get visa if there is travel history?

Your husband will have to sign the consent form - Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request (IMM 5744)

Question for my friends here...

My file shows Interview Waiver recommended..medicals passed..etc etc..everything is fine...but this stupid Security and Criminal background check still shows " Not started ".....wat the Faq!

When will they start this check and how long does it take ?
Ive heard criminal check is quick...but security check could take up some time..is that true ?

thanks buddy. i agree NDVO has speed up the process...for sure...so its just a matter of few more days for all of us.
