I am applying for spousal sponsorship , my husband works in Kuwait, he's an India n his work permitt for Kuwait expires in jun 2014 , I'm totally confused which visa office to choose Kuwait or India coz if he doesn't get his PR before June n if his passport is sent to India he will be illegal in Kuwait n if we chose Kuwait visa office also same problem coz if he doesn't get visa b4 June he might have to request the passport bck from the visa office to get his work permit renewed. PLEASE HELP

Hi Civiliii,

I think you should not waste time to file the PR Application for your wife and kids. More delay in applying means the more delay in processing due to the queue will keep on increasing.

The chance of getting Visit Visa for your wife and kids will be just 2% because what I have learnt from the seniors members here is that they refuse 98% Visit Visa for the family and ask to file the PR application instead.

It is not necessary that the PR application will take 12 months in total. First of all, the applicants are getting stage 1 approval in 21 days not two months and lastly for many applicants the second stage has been completed in four to five months. Every case is unique and the time taken for processing differs from case to case.

In the end, I suggest you to apply for PR application for your family instead of wasting time in other things. Who knows the processing time will increase in future by the time you think to apply.

Its very sad to hear that nothing is been started but its 20 days old status which u got today so should be some work on ur file as of now and moreover strike is end so we will get visa very soon...don't worry..All the best..!!
please can u share What about the Eligibility and interview in the GCMS notes???
and what is ur e-cas status application recvd and medical have been recvd under that as well OR only application recvd?????
Where are u from i mean which state in india? are u from punjab???

kab change hua tha status from app recvd to medical recvd? yaa fir shuru se hi yahi tha status same as it is?

it is same as from beginning,,, it is not medical recvd ........ it is medical result received........

Hey don't worry mine e-cas is same as u..! GCMS Notes and e-cas are not reliable as u know about that and some applicants also got the same status in GCMS notes same as u n get the visa within month so i think we will get the visa in oct month hopefully..!!
