If so, how did this experience go, any tips?

Hello all, I'm still delhi we have an eveing flight today!!so will be back

The Interviw went weLl it was canadian lady.. Who's asked about 20- 25
Questions to my hubby. She just asked me to sit out an
wait she was very nice
So I just sat out and waited.. Nervous like helll!!!
But we Didn't get answer for the visa, she told us
she will review again and let us knw,
but she ask my hubby about
pcc if he had
Done any crimes or broken the law.
Also in the end she asked about remedcial,
she asked him to write down the emails of where she can send
it. Or If the was addiontional documents. She didn't give passport back. The interpreter also felt that she was very satisistfid and hubby answered all questions correctly. She was
really amazed that I ( canadian citiazn has has been living in india for last 3 half wid hubby. I think that's What maked the case more genuine

Now I guess she would just to wait for the remediical,
any ideas how long
This will take. I'm still worried if we got the visa or not?.. As this was cousin marrige in hindu relgioun?? Do we need pp to do medical I have hrd
U only need a copy of pp or other I'd?? I wonder what will ecas read now wait and watch.....

My wife was asked to do further medicals as they suspected something in the chest (TB). She went for the tests and the lab submitted them in December. The results were that she had childhood TB and what was present in the lungs were just scars. So that was good news. But we haven't heard from the Indian embassy since then. The only thing that changed was that the process became IN PROCESS before the medical results were submitted by the lab. Is this normal to be waiting for a response for so long?

It is good to hear that Interview went well. If the VO wanted to review the application that mean she still not concluded if visa has to be issued or not and there would be several reason for that....but what the strong reason I could see when you mentioned that it was a cousin marriage...if it is close relation like first or second cousin then it can be an adverse effect but again.....it all depends upon visa officer. I am sorry, I am not scaring you but one can not be sure unless a final outcome arise.

I suggest you to apply a GCMS notes now so that you can see what exactly happened at interview and what VO put notes. If she said that a remedical and re pcc needed, you should wait 3-4 days to get an email for the same..... today is tuesday and check your ecas after 12.30pm (IST) if it goes to "In Process" then there is nothing to be worried.

I wish you a very good luck and speedy visa for your hubby.

Nothing to be worried.....CHC is just works like a snail.......I suggest you to order for GCMS notes so that you can see what exactly is going on with you application.

Wish you a very good luck for your wife's Visa.

I have a different take on the interview...junior officers cannot make decisions and can only recommend actions (some indian interviewers tell the decision upfront this one is a Canadian who follows the rules)..the fact they have not given passport back; not asked about cousin marriage; ordered remedicals; pcc (since they expired many years ago) and the fact it was canadian lady officer who told us the same thing 'we will let you know in two weeks' and sent remedicals needed letter in four days..this all points to favorable outcome except for passport (unless it is not required for remedicals) not returned....

Thanks for your good wishes and for answering my message. Do you suggest I contact a local MP if that helps?
