Wow..That is a really good news.... and don't worry for the email. actually the VO who took the interview pass the instructions to next person ( most probably Indian ) who have to send you the email and I am sure these are lazy asses will take some time but I am sure you will get the email to re do Chest X-ray by Tuesday fro sure and agter that you will get Visa with in 4-5 weeks..

:'( I have an update.. of sorts I guess..

Our MP inquired on the files as it's been over 6 weeks since we submitted everything, turns out Immigration "will" be sending a letter asking if my husband lived in USA for more than 6 months... I am totally frustrated right now, as I am pretty sure that is a question on the application - where you have lived more than 6 months.. and we prepared an exact travel history and submitted that with our original application, clearly indicating we/he has NEVER lived in the USA EVER that we have only gone to the states for a weekend here or there....

Most of the frustration is that the letter will be going to our lawyers office in Victoria, Canada, so it will take about a month once they actually get the letter out, to get to Canada...

Just when I think that there isn't another possible way for Immigration to delay our process more than then 19 months it's already been.. (insert many swears words and tears!) so ridiculous!

Hi, sorry I don't understand this. Why would it be a problem. If he has lived in the us for more than 6 months or not? Did he not submit his Pcc? I may be missing something to not understand your post. Thanks

I was very frustrated when I wrote it.. might not have been clear..We are in the final stage, we went to India for the interview and he has been there since while I am back in Canada, we have been doing this process for over 19 months now, we finally did the interview, she approved us but said to redo medical, redo India PCC & Dubai PCC... it took 30 days to get the letter so my husband could redo his medical... and has since been 6 or 7 weeks since he couriered everything to Immigration..

AND now we find out that they want him to fill out a form, that they haven't sent yet, but lets assume, based on everything that occurs at Immigration, it will be another 30 days until we get the letter, he will fill it out and send it back right away, and then we will have another 30 days min. before we get any sort of response...

It's frustrating because we answered on the application, as did everyone here, where you have lived for 6 months or more, he has never lived in the USA, and we provided them with a written day by day account of his travel history since 2007, which was included in our original package back in October 2012... I would understand them asking the question, if he had ever mentioned anywhere that he lived there or even if they had asked the question during our interview... but to sit and wait for 4 months is painful to get a stupid question from Immigration when the answer is in the file..

Thanks for writing back @ Hols11. I know it is a very long wait! But good that you got through the interview, that's the main hurdle I guess. Hard dealing with immigration!

Hey ya it gng good, just been busy with hubby preparing with for interview the big day May 19 the is coming up!!!!

Outcome was real good, we passed the interview. It was very basic questions regarding marriage, who arranged and how did it happened, etc.

The problem is now that the officer at the end of the interview said to my wife that I will send the re-xray letter to your email so check it in the evening. Interview was at 10:30 AM

Also the officer said that he doesn't need a re-PCC and all is required is a chest x-ray and he has the power to then extend the validity of the medical for a few more months. He did not return the passport back either.

He also said once he gets the medical results, he will issue the visa in 3 weeks.

I don't know when this officer will send that stupid email...

Hey gud to hear that interview went real good, for u.. Wish u speedy visa my friend..hopefully a lot of us 2012 get back pp with stamped visa 2013 forum is movong quite quickly with new updates everday!!!

Hey - no NDVO didn't call at all... The package just showed up at the doorstep...and we got it mid april (think around 16-17)...

Yup, had to do remedical and then they claimed they didn't receive it so I had to write to them and send them proof that remedical was done... it was a mess (those darn VO are entirely useless...)
