We are still waiting - We had our interview at the beginning of February 2014, waited for our letter until March and my husband (who is in India, while I am in Canada) submitted everything March 18th.....

It has been a very frustrating wait... The interviewer said we were approved but my husband needed to redo his medical (which he already passed from the notes we ordered) and redo his India/Dubai PCC, he did all that again ... now just the long waiting process again...

Does anyone know if they call you or mail you the passport when they are done? My husband has been harassing the postman every morning to see if he has anything coming..

. I'm checking our status everyday and hoping one day is our turn.

YA I WAS WONDERING SAME THING,IM GUESSING 10 YA 15 PPL LEFT, IM THE ONLY LEFT GNG FOR INTERVIEW NEXT MONTH, M SURE YOU GUYS WILL GET BACK UR PP SOON..I WONDER IF THIS ELECTIONS ALSO PUTS EFFECT ON THE EMBASSY CUZ THERE TAKING THER SWEET TIME..

according to people's time line, Im supposed to get back our passport with visa end of april so, lets see...this wait is killing us big time..I dont know what the hell they are doing with our paper work..

I just got my latest GCMS notes. I am really surprised because I'd applied the same on 09th April 2014 and got GCMS just few mins back. yeah It is true that with in a week I got GCMS....... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nothing was new as compared to old GCMS notes which I'd received on 20th March 2014 except in Activities It is mentioned:

ACTIVITY: 1
UCI: XXXXXXXX
Name: Last Name, First Name
Sub-Activity/Activity Type: Security Screening
Field Name: Status
New Value: Favourable
Updated Date: 2014/02/27
Validity Date: 2018/02/26

does that mean that security check is clear?? wasn't it last stage of processing an application?? the due date was mentioned 10th March 2014 but I did not get any update on ecas .

What you guys thinks??? it is exact two years passed since we'd applied...... ??? ???

Wanted to let you all know that my husband's visa arrived yesterday
After 18 months of waiting, finally it happeend.
Visa came exactly after 2 months of them receving our remedical.
In our case background check took one year. Everything else was done last april. We also had to get passport renewed in the middle. They kept my husbands passport for a year!!

Its a good feeling and hard to believe yet! I wish you all who are waitingg a speedy visa! All is well that ends well.. Just wish that your visa comes and the wait will be worth it.

I stopped replyng and posting after a few months of being on the forum as my file was on hld for so long nevertheless it gave me support in its own way. Its a hard journey but worth the wat.

Wishing you all good luckk and patience . May u all get the visa soooon!!!

Hello All,

I believe my file is also in the wretched loop. have been in Ip for 2 months now ( but gladly not as long as some of you here). i received notes yesterday and it says FCU- RFV from 3/3/ 2014( family class unit - ready for visa??)

however i noticed that my security clearance is blank. Same page has S.15(1) marked on top left side of page. i been researching it out and based on previous experience, people said it is security check being done on file.

i am writing to you whether such event has occurred on your notes too? Does security clearence blank means security checks being done?

Please do write back . your advise will be greatfull.
