I went through few posts. People have said that submit phone bills, mails, chats etc. with the application. I am doing arranged marriage and have no chats, mails, or telephone records to show it. I can however give court marriage papers, wedding card, pics of wedding and videos if required and Marriage certificate.

do this still ask for phone bills, mails and chat records.

I pray to god NDVO resumes normal working soon and strike gets over

There is no criteria to consider a wedding genuine, but try to gather pics of all the religious rites and traditional ceremonies in which maximum family members are in the photos along with you two. I guess, adding engagement, other pics after engagement, various pics of pre-wedding ceremony like sangeet or mendi, ritual wedding ceremony, reception and then honeymoon or visiting relatives, friends and such pics should suffice the need of showing authenticity of the relationship. We had submitted around 300 pics and still we were nervous, were not sure if that is sufficient or not. Good luck!

Friends, I landed Canada perfectly on 6th of this month. The immigration at the airport was very smooth and I was also given the SIN No. from the immigration office at the airport itself unlike the earlier process which required visiting the service Canada office.

I owe a big thanks to each & everyone of this forum. My best-est wishes are with u all..... don't worry, just be patient, ur turn would come very soon.

Good news! We received passport with visa by mail today. It is the best present of Eid for us from NDVO. FYI, there is no update in e-cas. Recently I requested my MP by email to check the status of our application. I am not sure whether it has played any role but I advise you to contact your MP office if nothing is happening. In our case the medical is expiring soon on Sep 8.

I wish everyone to get the passport with visa without any unnecessary delay and good luck for those who are waiting to be reunited with their spouse.

If u are going to Nepal, i think u will be able to come back with your spouse because they will issue visa to ur spouse in sept last

I have applied on December 11 2012 and still waiting for the visa do you think it's because of my travel history? I have lived in England for last 4-5 years but I have provided police clearance certificate for that.
Don't know what's taking them so long. It's so frustrating :-[

I emailed my letter yesterday (my file got transferred on June 19 but have not received any passport request so far) asking for my local MP for help. If I don't get any acknowledgement in a couple of days, I will call him (according to response in another thread, my MP should a response in a few days from New Delhi Visa office). I guess you have to provide details in either option, you might as well call your local MP

We received email from ndvo to submit passport and landing fee on June 27. We immediately paid our landing fee and emailed payment slip to Mississauga. We mailed passport and copy of payment slip to ndvo on July 8. On july 15 we received another email as a reminder to submit passport and pay the landing fee. We replied their email with tracking details of courier to confirm that pp has been delivered to ndvo. We emailed our MP in Toronto to help us to know the status of our application. It was a fruitful exercise. The email of MP confirmed that ndvo has received our pp and landing fee.

We were worried as our medical expiry date was coming closer. Thank God, the wait game is over. NDVO mailed pp and copr by speed post. We both live together out of Canada and at present we are in India.
