Hi there

I landed on 17 th of this month at toronto.
Everything went smooth
At the airport Just make sure u go to visitor visa line
They will guide u to the immigration section and a couple of signatures on the copr
After which u go to customs, where each n every thing from Ur luggage is inspected
But don't worry it's not an harassment.
Thankfully for me I was travelling with my 4 month old, who despite being a very patient kiddie decided to unleash his wrath at the customs section. So they let us jump the queue
N dats all
CONGRATS!
Can you share your entire timeline?
I know you asked for your passport as u had to travel to Canada...did they ask for RCMP?

this is sad. PAFSO union is greedy bunch and holding canadians for a ransom. i am with government that these guys get lots of perks with my tax money and if they dont like travelling to different country, go get a different job. i think the government is way too lenient with these guys and should take a stern step to end this fiasco.

Effective Monday, in order to persuade the Government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada's fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad: Abu Dhabi, Ankara, Beijing, Cairo, Delhi/Chandigarh, Hong Kong, London, Manila, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai.

This is from pafso's website.

Hello all,

Need some help please.

File transfer was done in October 2012.
Passport with CIC - New Delhi since November 2012.
Medical results have expired on 8 July 2013.
And now the strike is going on as well.

What should I do?

1) Should I send an email to CIC ND...if yes, then what should I tell them?
2) Should I contact the MP of my area?
3) Should I order GCMS notes? (Can someone please tell me the procedure/website to order GCMS notes?)

Thanks for any help.

Upset, tensed, disappointed, depressed = ME due to this wait :-(

The applicant has to fill out a form that allows the sponsor to request for information. The form is IMM5744.

Applicant has to sign it and send a scanned copy to them so that they can pull your information.

Re: PLEASE HELP !!!! HOW DO I HANDLE THE GCMS QUERY..JUST COULD NOT FOLLOW ANYTHING

Sallysander,

Of course I completely get this response. You just sent them your information without adding a consent form for the applicant/your spouse. As advised, you must ask your spouse to print it, sign & date the consent form and then email it to you. Then you can attach it to your application for GCMS notes. And assuming you are applying on behalf of your spouse, you will need to enter the country where the file is located. Next time, pls read all instructions carefully!

Hi Maplegal86 , hope u r fine .. I am hooked on to this forum still, is only because of u n waitingpatientlysince2004 . Blv me I am praying for you two . Coz I know how difficult is to keep positive or wait . Once the visa is done then it is very easy to say that be patient and be positive . But I have not seen anybody following those rules till the time they all r in the other side of the waiting process .

I will not say that God gives u strength , all I will say is that , it's high time god should now give u two the good news .

Take care , I will keep following this thread till the time u two r thru .
