@navdeep mmu

Not sure when this strike is going to end.. But, I heard that the applications that are already in process are not going to be effected.
They are working on all the applications that are in process.

Thanks!

PCC valid for six month only

I think it depends on the authority offering PCC.
Some PCC states on it that it's valid for just 6 months (through passport office).
And personally I have seen another PCC that says it's valid for an year (through police commissioner office).
Not sure how CIC treats the difference though!

Hello Guys,

I am a 2012 applicant. It took me almost 10 months to get my VISA. I do visit this forum time to time to see how things are. Lately, from what I see, life has been very difficult with visa applicants waiting in the queue. I can relate to what frustration you people must be going through. My well wishes are there with you people and I must say you people are brave to sail through this time. I sincerely hope each one of you get your visas on time and dont have to stay away from partners for long.

maplegirl and waitingsince2004, my buddies from forum I really wish your wait ends soon.

Thank u for understanding .. This strike is really driving me and everyone wait for their passport insane !! I felt like I was so close to getting back my hubby passport but then I heard abt the strike. Sadly, the waiting continues ....... :(

Hi Rupan... Thanks for sharing the Information. God knows what kind of review are they doing on our files. Like all of others candidates i am also waiting for my PR approval. My hubby just applied for GCMS notes yesterday. Hoping to get some more light on my application.

Need to notify about spouse pregnancy to Visa Officer....What the best option:

1.Send a cover letter with doctors letter with pregnancy details by post or
2.Send case specific inquiry thru ND email address...

Thanks for the comments..

@ n4dpatel and nabagataa

Did you guys request GCMS notes yet? From what I've seen so far on the forum, almost everyone has been getting their PPRs within 2-3 months of the application being transferred from Canada to NDVO. Those who did not either had some complication in their application, or like me, missed some communication from them. If you have received your GCMS notes, does that show any complications or indications of what's going on with your file? If you haven't requested the GCMS notes yet, what are you waiting for??

ps. I've requested for a second GCMS notes. My first request was on April 10th, and received it on May 9th. Requested another one on May 27th, so I can see if anything has happened in the 2 months since my first request. Should be getting that next week.

Hi friend, I got my gcms today. as per this, eligibility & medical passed. VO satisfied that relationship is genuine. found documents, proofs, photos etc in order. contained a detailed note of how they found the relationship is, how it developed, the compatibility they saw through emails,photos etc. Interview is waived. criminality & security not started.

But the unfortunate part is as per GCMS, PPR was made on 15th April via email. the ref no of the letter is also given but nothing had come to me. Guys I need ur advice on this as to whether I can send the PPRon the basis of this note, or should I post an email to NDVO or approach the MP?? Pls advise. I know there are many in the same situation. what are u people doing or did?? pls advise. I don't want any further delay....

no decision made dear ,,,,hope tht we 2012 applicants all get visa
but this strike making us sad :(

guys can anyone tell me when 10 months will be completed if the case has been applied on october 12, 2012

I would mail them the Passport right away. I would also include a cover letter quoting your UCI and file nulmber and also explain the reason for this delay.

@Navdeep mmu
