Hi to every1,
My wife had an Interview on Monday and she passed and NVDo said to submit PCC along wiht passport ASAP but online status is same and no letter nothing we got so is it ok? what you think guys

Finally received passport with visa....was issued may 16 but still shows in process!! Oh well at least we got the passport!!!!!

I have a feeling my wife's will be the same, as I have similar in process and address change dates as you. Oh well, the stamped passport is all that matters now.

Since they asked for PCC and passport hopefully the VO is leaning towards a positive decision. Send the passport and PCC ASAP and hope for the best! All the best!

Got reply from MP...

“Applicant has been deemed eligible, however a closer examination of the file raised some questions and a letter requesting further information was sent to applicant. Applicant's response was received in March and sent to visa officer in May, and is currently under review. Once this review is achieved, a final decision regarding Eligibility will be made, and, if positive, Background checks will be started. Medicals have been taken and are on file"

Any idea how long it will take for Background Checks after eligibility - Applicant has No travel history...

Background checks timeline are unpredictable. In most cases i think they finish it within 2 to 3 months.

Is there such a thing as being rejected without having an opportunity to be interviewed? I would think that such a large heavy handed decision wouldn't be done without at least an interview correct?

i received my PP back with VISA today ....its took 8 days to get PP after DM
thanks all for ur support...praying all should get visa soon

i dnt think travel history become problem fr issuing visa as i have 2 yrs travel histroy...

Congrats on receiving your PP! ;D Pack your bags!!!

I have the same question as Reeyan...did you receive any email/letter from the NDVO or see any update on your E-cas saying that they were mailing your PP?

The thing is that my E-cas has been showing DM since the last 3 weeks and it says the office will get in touch about the DM. So far there has been no further correspondence from the NDVO and no sign of the PP in the mail. The address on E-case hasn't changed either. Am a bit anxious as to what may be happening. ???

You may apply for Global Case Management System(GCMS) which are notes on your application or a file copy .Through this you can come to know status of your application.Over phone they dont tell application status.
