application filed -10/12/2012
file transfered to NDVO-25/01/2013
ppr-09/03/2013
DM-13/05/2013
address change in ECAS-18/05/2013
passport received back -21/05/2013......it took exactly 5 months fr whole process

That's very quick..

Wish mine goes very quick too.. It's been (6) months since in total since submitted the application and (3) months since the passport been submitted..
Please pray I get mine ASAP!!!!!

Whats ur timeline?? I think we are pretty much in the same boat.
My husband just got a letter last friday indicating we need to submit complete divorce petition and the time frame we stayed together after the marriage.
They advised us to send the requirements before May 30,2013.
We sent it already by Fedex and they received it this morning..

IDK how soon they are going to open my package.

It looks like they are working on our file now.. Which is a good news! Isnt it?

My husband just got a letter last friday indicating we need to submit complete divorce petition and the time frame we stayed together after the marriage.
They advised us to send the requirements before May 30,2013.
We sent it already by Fedex and they received it this morning..

DECISION MADE ON 1st UCI# (CANADA) & GENERATED THE NEW UCI# (NEW DELHI, INDIA).
PASSPORT REQUESTED: 03/03/2013
PASSPORT RECEIVED NEW DELHI: 03/08/2013
STARTED PROCESSING AGAIN AFTER RECEIVING THE PASSPORT ON: 03/13/2013

Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process.
ECAS :Medical results have been received.

My wife's passport is with New delhi embassy since 2nd December 2012 and still ecas shows application received and medical results recieved. Its 8 months since file is transferred to New delhi. I emailed them but no reply from them

THATS A PRETTY LONG TIME FOR THEM TO KEEP UR WIFE'S PASSPORT. THE PROCESSING TIME IS STILL 10 MONTHS SO I GUESS U HAVE TO WAIT. IF YOU PASS 10 MONTHS THEN IM SURE YOU HAVE TO CONTACT THEM BY EMAIL OR EVEN TRY TO CALL THEM??? USUALLY WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT AFTER ALL ITS IN THERE HANDS. NOT OURS! :'(

DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL HISTORY?? ANY OF YOU WERE DIVORCE BEFORE?? THAT CAN ALSO BE A CASE IF UR CASE IS LIL COMPLICATED.

It's first marriage. My wife has only travelled to UK for work purpose for a week. that's it. I contacted my MP 3 months before and new delhi replied saying she will be called for interview but its 3 months after that and no reply as yet.
The only thing is that we did simple and court marriage with 30 guest.

Well i send that day pic itself with all the guest. And then i came back next day. That was the reason i got married in a simple way but i went again in january and we had a big reception. But reception pics are not with them

I didn't save copy of my application. January applicant 2013 with same timeline have received PPR so I had a feeling of not writing e-mail add correctly I wrote two e-mail to NDVO to verify my applicant e-mail ID and address but haven't heard anything from them.Hope they read my email and correct my email address. It's been 4 month of my application filed haven't received PPR.

I see that there are a few people in my situation, which is:
Received GCMS notes, and it shows NDVO sent PPR to incorrect email, or for some reason, we did not receive the PPR email.

In my case, I emailed them immediately with "URGENT: Incorrect contact email address. Please re-send passport request" in the title.
Some people suggested just sending the passport to NDVO with a cover letter, without waiting for them to re-send the PPR. Has anyone actually done this? I'm not looking for speculation on whether this is a good idea. Does anyone have personal experience doing this, or remember someone doing this in the past on this forum? Did it actually work?

I contacted my MP, and she said this:
Please do not send your wife's passport in. I received a stock reply from New Delhi which did not include any details whatsoever. My contact in the Minister's office is looking into the file and may be able to provide some information.

So for now I'm waiting, but I see cases (e.g., IndCan), who have been waiting several months without reply from NDVO on the same matter. So I don't want to wait too long.

I cannot believe how long it is taking our case...

Hey sept 24!! no news..... nothing yet.... u r right, our files must have been with the same visa officer who's indeed sleeping on with them.... its very frustrating!! i have applied for gcms yesterday online. lets see what we find out of that... its 8 months we applied & nothing we see yet....... i keep checking my email every 5 mins hoping for a ppr!! but nothing.... its sometimes so disheartening to see even dec & jan applicants are getting through & we r still waiting.....

yes im in the same boat... i had made inqury few days on the new delhi website wrote an email... but it will take some tym i think to get answer my laywer said we should wait a bit longer then we can go ahead and order notes...

I was looking at New delhi 2013 applicant spreadsheet.. i was so upset to see so many ppl are getting PPR SOO SOON they have put files in jan, feb, march, april.. im just praying that ours comes soon..

We are in the same month. I applied in first week of OCTOBER. Dont worry..We will be there soon..eventhough it is frustrating to see most of the jan,feb.mar,apr applicants are getting before us..Im sure our partners will be here before summer really starts
