Hi folks,

I see that there are a few people in my situation, which is:
Received GCMS notes, and it shows NDVO sent PPR to incorrect email, or for some reason, we did not receive the PPR email.

In my case, I emailed them immediately with "URGENT: Incorrect contact email address. Please re-send passport request" in the title.
Some people suggested just sending the passport to NDVO with a cover letter, without waiting for them to re-send the PPR. Has anyone actually done this? I'm not looking for speculation on whether this is a good idea. Does anyone have personal experience doing this, or remember someone doing this in the past on this forum? Did it actually work?

I contacted my MP, and she said this:
Please do not send your wife's passport in. I received a stock reply from New Delhi which did not include any details whatsoever. My contact in the Minister's office is looking into the file and may be able to provide some information.

So for now I'm waiting, but I see cases (e.g., IndCan), who have been waiting several months without reply from NDVO on the same matter. So I don't want to wait too long.

I sent my PCC without NDVO asking for it. I received a request later after i sent the PCC. They accepted it. So it will depend on your comfort level. All the best!

However, PCC is something you can send along with your application - they don't have to ask for it. Also, if they lose or don't receive your PCC, you can always get another one. Passport is a lot more problematic if lost. That's why I'm very wary of sending it just like that.

However, PCC is something you can send along with your application - they don't have to ask for it. Also, if they lose or don't receive your PCC, you can always get another one. Passport is a lot more problematic if lost. That's why I'm very wary of sending it just like that.

Congratulations......What is your time line??? and what was your travel history?? did u stay two year in a same country or you traveled in different countries in those two years??

I applied in OCt 2012. 8)

Sent passport in March 11 2013. .


My husband recently got a letter indicating they need the following:

Complete divorce petition of your sponsor.

Please provide period of cohabitation with your sponsor after your marriage with sponsor.



This must be received by 06/30/2013 or as soon as possible in order to process faster.


We send all the info by Fed ex and they received it last night.

My question is How long does it take for them to open my package..

It seems like they are in the last stage..

I really how to get visa soon : : :
