Hey muksi ,angel and everyone...
After reading glass posts I am really worried abt my case. Can they refuse my case too as the vo clearly said to me that he is approving my case and would issue me visa soon after I submit new medical and pcc as the previous ones had already been expired. I did submit new documents on march 12 2013 bt no update since then. I am really worried now. Please help.

Were the new documents requested during the interview or afterwards? Your case might be completely different from glass. And since the officer said he is approving your case there is nothing to worry. It will be just matter of time.

Did Angel get her passport back with visa?

Yes the documents were requested at the time of interview. After the vo asked me certain questions he said he is apporving my case and would had issued me visa if my medical and pcc were not expired. So he asked to submit these documents and said l ll issue ur visa.

10 months is the approximate time it should take for your PR to come through from the day the file reaches NDVO

Hi Zenn,,, I read in most of the other memeber's cases and in thier time line that they have recevied either Passport request OR PCC req or medical req (if expires) , in my case -- my file reached to new delhi office on 5th oct, 2012 and have not received any communication whatsoever.... now i am seriously worried and that too I readh one memeber's ("Glaas") recent post that they got rejection.....

Very similar to my timeline.
I got PPR on 1st Oct and I had DM in Sponsor's UCI for about 4 months and in Feb it changed to In process.
It's been 2 months like that and my status is still App Received.

I see you have received a PPR , in my case i am really worried now, since there has been no commnucation whatsoever... and its been more than five months since file reached to NDVO

just wanted to know if any one of you have added my time line to the spreadsheet, and if you can please share with me that are there are cases like mine where there has been no communication (no PPR or not any thing ) from NDVO since file reached there, its been 5 months, , I am really worreid now, i see almost everyone here have recevied some sort of letter from NDVO afte file reach there,
in my case there has been nothing and no reply to my few email queries either....

What happens if someone may have missed a letter for PPR from NDVO, because it may have been delivered to spam folder and because not been able to check for few weeks, spam folder get cleared and there is no way to know if there was an email at all...
Will NDVO send another email in such cases...
I am worried that it might have happened to my case... I was checking the email for almost two months (oct and nov 2012) only in my inbox and not in spam folder... what if i have lost it, if it was delivered in spam folder....
??

Hey Maple, how you doing? Nothing changed in two weeks,it's the same pretty much. We barely get to hear about DMs lately. Loser VOs are busy doing nothing I believe. Keep in touch. Hope some one updates saying Decision made.

I've stopped checking ECAS. Was busy with husband being here, so was not on the foum either.

Now there's talk of this fiscal year quota, CIC trying to process files within 6 months etc. I really don't know what to think. My medicals are expiring 2nd week of May, initially I thought that would mean I'd get my DM before that, but after reading about people getting requests for remedical etc, I don't have any concrete thoughts about that.

Hope those of us who applied in 2012 get out DMs, PPs and can start packing our bags in the coming weeks.

yes hopefully this month is full of action.. they need to clear may june july aug applications soon
