it's very well said and thanks for wonderful extract. I applied on 15th Aug and File transfer on 25th sep,beside that all got pp and visa even after my submission but me I did not get anyhting jsut application received. I am thinking to go back and live in India can not ruin marriage life by "waiting time ' .I am really getting paranoid and I tried MP also they said can not do until time lapse and I sent Inquiry also did not hear anything yet. Seriously If i know this before could not come to canada.

My friend instead of blaming Canadian system. I would like to say lets blame ourself. If we people who tried messing up the sponsoring system. I am sure we didn't had to go this long months wait..
But, asian, indian, pakistani's live here in Canada did so much illegal things and tried to break the law and system so cause of this they had to be bit strict with us..

Hi H4B my timeline is almost same as yours I applied on 10 Aug and PPR in mid Oct.. Still the status shows App Recd.

Does any one have any clue if courier packages are accepted by NDVO on Saturdays? Is delivery to NDVO possible?

I'm wondering because I'm scared the courier company has messed up the delivery...

They might take delivery if not they will redeliver it on Monday. So nothing to worry. Is it bluedart?

I got a letter from NDVO to submit 3 things yesterday which was printed on FEB/22/2013

1. Payment of Right of Permanent residence fee -- Already Paid
2. Police clearance certificate for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more - Submitted initially during the application dated AUG/31/2012
3. Submit passport

The question is as my wife is already in India and we have submitted the police clearance already so do we need to submit the Police clearance again ?????

Please kindly let me know if we have to send it again or it's not needed ????

This is the standard letter once receives from ND when they request for passport.If you have already submitted the documents, include a cover letter with file number and inform them you already submitted with the application.If you have a copy of PPC include it as well...Nothing to worry and just send the package with Passport and other documents if not submitted with application as soon as possible...

If it has been delivered, then i am sure there would have been staff to collect all the mails coming to NDVO even on Saturdays. You can check with Fed-Ex if you want to make sure.

As Tahsinmohammad pointed out this is a standard letter that comes for all ppr requests. If you have already submitted it no need to get a new one. Just sending the passport should be good enough.

Mine wont be useful for you, since i got a passport request by telephone. Below you can find a sample i created based on what i sent. You can also mention that you have already submitted your pcc and paid the fees. Hope it helps

So when did you sent your passport.. any reply after that from the visa office. Normally how many days it takes for the passport to be returned ?

Also, as they requested Passport --- what do you think --- Did they look at the application and verified everything or nothing is done at all ?? When do they normally send Passport request ???
