Hi H4B my timeline is almost same as yours I applied on 10 Aug and PPR in mid Oct.. Still the status shows App Recd.

Hi you at least got PPR ,but did not receive your passport ? Its really headache thing I tried for visist visa also 3 times refused. Jason Kenny should realize pain of ours. He should allow at least spouses visit visa while file is awaiting PR . We all should write an email and below we should write our name and file number and send an email saying we are in trouble help us!!!! "Alone is hard they won't listen but ,Together we can " might work . what other has to say on this .

So when did you sent your passport.. any reply after that from the visa office. Normally how many days it takes for the passport to be returned ?

Also, as they requested Passport --- what do you think --- Did they look at the application and verified everything or nothing is done at all ?? When do they normally send Passport request ???

Nobody, but the NDVO officer processing your file can answer those questions. Take a look at the spreadsheet and make your best guess.

I sent it one week back. Check the timelines in the spreadsheet. There are members who are waiting for more than 5 months after sending the passport and some have received sooner. So it will depend on your case and some luck . All the best .

file sent to CIC Miss -- nov 5, 2012 .. received --nov 7th ..
AOR on dec 17, 2012 -- SA --Jan 9, 2013.

Below is from ecase

We received your application for permanent residence on November 7, 2012.

PPR on March 05, 2013. Via email.

sent on 6th and received on 7th

We started processing your application on March 11, 2013.

A decision has been made on your application . The office will contact you concerning this decision.

DM on March 24, 2013..

Ours is arranged marriage and first marriage for both of us.My wife applied her passport after marriage, I made sure that my name is added in her passport as spouse..this is the only additional stuff we have in the application..self completed application..
