New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hey all,

My wife got a call from NDVO yesterday.. But she could not recieve as she was in IELTS class.
then NDVO also called my home bt my mom told she is out and gave her mobile no.

NDVO guys again called her, but again she could not receive.

Later on she came to know about +11 phone number, so she called back. They told that she will get the call again from the officer who called her.

Have such situation happened to anybody else before?
Will this call be for PPR or interview?
By what time, generally, they call back in such cases?? :'(

Mostly it should have been for PPR. I am not sure when they will call back.

It came through email to applicant. Application status is still application received for both of us. I did not apply with old passport.
I think our file got moved because we contacted our MP last week and his office was pretty positive about giving response. MP office did not tell us anything yet but I think they must have made an inquiry or something.

Send in all the passports including the old ones.

I will share my timeline
ndvo recd the application on 21 june 2012
ppr 15 sept 2012
pp sent on 1 nov 2012 due to my lawyers carelessness
interview scheduled 11 feb 2012
ndvo called and cancelled the interview stating that they will re schedule my interview
ndvo called my wife in Canada on 25th feb and took a telephonic interview.

ecas status still shows that application recd and interview is scheduled for 11 feb.

Does anybody in this forum have any idea what is going on in here?

My lawyer tells me that ndvo may waive my interview....but that is just an assumption........

Not sure, its possible they might waive it as they have spoken to your wife. It will all depend on what are the questions in your they are trying to clear in your application. If the visa office is clear after talking to your wife, then interview might be waived. All the best!

Can you let us know when you filed your application for stage 1, so that i can add you to the spreadsheet.

Not sure, its possible they might waive it as they have spoken to your wife. It will all depend on what are the questions in your they are trying to clear in your application. If the visa office is clear after talking to your wife, then interview might be waived. All the best!

Also wanted to share that I have never heard that NDVO cancel an scheduled interview at 11th hour....so pls advice me what could have been the reason ?.

Just wanted to inform that NDVO contacted through email for requesting police certificates, which i didnt submit with the application. So looks like they have started looking at October applicants.

They had mention part of the original medical test ....

I had to do the X ray as well

how was the new xray?for us they have odered .

Lordotic chest xray(image and report)after NOW.
Other:consult chest specialist-Report must include history of TB treatment and drug schedule used.

Hi muksi, did you get your PPR? i also applied in first week of october, my case is that we had PPP in november and we submitted it on 25th Nov, but still it says application received. no progress yet and I had inquired at the end of Jan but no response from NDVO as well! I hope someone is updating the spreadsheet so we are updated regularly. Thanks for all who are doing this work. you guys are doing great work!

ya i agree with muksi, looks like a PPR. good luck i havent heard anything yet from them. My wife's PCC has already expired 2 months back..do you guys think they will ask us to send a new PCC? hope we hear soon from them! I have come to India to meet my wife and i hope i can take her back with me! good luck to all Oct applicants

No i havent received PPR. But i received a communication asking for PCC.

Mostly PCC's are valid for 1 year, so not sure how it will expire already.
