I second that... So jobless and useless...

Can you please explain to me how this MP thing works and how can I (or my husband who is my sponsor) find out who our MP is...

Depending on which area you live in, for example, if you live in Mississauga, Ontario, just do a google search for Mississauga MP and you can find the name and contact info for the MP for Mississauga and send an email, or better yet, just call the office. They will guide you on the rest once you tell them this is to make an MP enquiry for spouse PR application.

Yeah, do that. It will help immensely.

I understand what you mean by life is stuck. I've never felt so jobless and useless in my life.

:(

I have a Job here, but I am helpless as I had to go to US in December on my project(have H1) but now I dont know if there will be an opening there or not in near future.. :(

Scorpionking,
You, me, SRNizami and tahsinmohammed are the only June applicants still waiting for DM. What is going on man!

I tried to stay away from the forum and ECAS but I just can't help it.

SRNizami got a reply but it's so frustrating for her too.

My husband went to the MP again to ask what is happening with my file. No reply from them yet. They said NDVO can take up to 2 weeks to reply to even MP query!

Anyone else recently queried through MP?

Yeah maplegal86, Its true that many June and July applicant's are struck and the rest August, September and October applicant's are getting changed their status directly from Application received, Inprocess and then to Decision made within 4 to 5 days and before all of us who filed our applications to Mississauga received our AOR for the time limits of 3 to 4 months and now its just 21 days to get AOR its really so much distressing with the immigration system working out in New Delhi, the way they are issuing the PR to the newly filed applications rather than clearing all the outstanding applicant's who are waiting since long time and any influential recommendations nor any personal requisitions are not prioritized with them, we all are helpless and have to await directly for any advises or action required from NDVO.

I had an MP's query 2nd week of this month but got reply as this file is awaiting initial review by a visa officer and had to await their contact.

No updates at all....wat is going on for June , July applicants ..... Its becoming hard day by day .... pathetic situation
don't know wat to do ..:(

Hey Muksi... Can you add me to the excel sheet please :)

Hi Angel, am4u2ster and all the guys, i just got home from new delhi.
So today was my interview. O god it went really good. VO was very nice to me. At first he tried to scare me( like they always do). But i didnt get scared for a minute. I kept describing my case details confidently. Very soon his tone became normal. At the end he said to me that i am approving your case. I was gonna approve your visa today but your medical and pcc have been expired . So he returned me my passport on the spot and asked to provide him these documents as soon as possible and he ll grant me the visa.
My interview lasted only for 20 to 25 minutes.
Mine was inter caste marriage and nobody attended the wedding from my spouse side. This was only issue in my case. The VO shared with me its very unfortunate that people still believe in caste system bla bla. No personal questions were asked. He kept all the proofs that i took with me to the interview
He was very much satisfied with my verbal answers. At the end when he said your case is approved i couldnt believe it for a second.
One of the best things of my interview was when the VO asked my husband's address. When i told him so , he said i live near that location and we ll meet in canada. I was so glad to hear that.
The conclusion is now i have my pp and have to provide them new medical and pcc.
i am so happy and thankful to god.
Special thanks to angel and am4u2ster. You have been really very helpful. What a relief ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
