What's going on with CIC? I can access ecas and there is no error at all. Are you guys using the following link :

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

Wish my server was also down so that I will not be disappointed with that two letter ""Application Received" :P

Agree! I never had any server down, nor my wife had any, who checks from India! Now is it because we are not getting the reply from the server itself, but instead a client side script programmed to show same old update "Application Received: all the time?

My big bad, It was retrieving from cache! I tried it, after clearing the cache! And there I go - the most visited IE page - white screen and 404 error.

I called the CIC Call Center again and there is a technical issue that is causing a lot of us a lot ot grief as we are not able to check the status of the application. They are aware of it and working to fix it. They have no idea how long it will take them to sort out this issue.

Whoever is not having issues, is because this technical issue did not affect your file. It has nothing to do with your cache or change in policy or because some files are not "in process". It is purely a technical fault.

What do you mean by nothing to do with our cache?! I was checking the application status and it came almost instantly and immediately after, I cleared all the browser history and tried again and hit the "page can't be displayed" page. How do you explain this, if the page wasn't coming from my cache previously?

I also cleaned up and I dont have issues. I also tried it with my mobile and office laptop. No issues at all. :O

Wish I also get this error like everyone :D
