Just want to let you know finally ECS updated as DM for my wife.
The status changed to DM from Application received, now I need to wait for the shining Visa on her passport and the delivery of the same from the post man.
Thanks for every ones support at all the times when I had questions / clarifications.

Thanks Brar.arsh, I will pary and wish you and all who are waiting for this day to get DM/Visa, as I know the feeling that I had all these days and specially for the last few weeks when there was lots of updates going around people with my time lines.

I think they are clearing file as per PPR dates. Lets hope All sept and before files are cleared by next week or today. Lets hope it ends for all soon.

Hello Everyone !!
I have just submitted GCMS Notes.. with lots of hope, what is really going on the file..
How long it would take to get the GCMS notes.

I have email one of the immigration lawyer and i have received this answer from him..
Q. i have asked him one particular question.. i can see my ecas and it indicates me that we have started processing your file from such and such date, then i have contacted my mp's and he advised me that, your file is under background check..


Background checks sometimes take a long time to complete. If the case goes beyond two years of delay you could bring an appeal to the Federal Court. In the meantime just write them once a month and ask for the status of the application.

These notes seem good. Did you check the end of file for any comments?
Normally they do not mention anything about security in GCMS till there is a DM. Thats what someone told me some time ago. Since you have traveled a lot, they may be taking time for criminality. But I think the coast is clear for you. You will soon see good news.

From previous post i think 1-2 weeks. Depends on your location since is sent through registered post.
