i will keep you posted when we get the passport ........
this forum is amazing,,, i dont know what i would do without it...

question for everyone it says DM now but address is still india address thats ok right? when i log in with UCI # i see both canadian addresses and when log in with file number i see indian address only once

I think I am next to u. I applied on feb 22 2012. Now my interview is scheduled for feb 27 exactly after one year and five days of file submission but I am still happy that at least we heard something from CICND.

hey Everyone,
it's gud to hear dat files started movin' on after d Christmas n New Year eve but a little slow. Been watchin' n goin' through d forum since past 6 months but never had an opportunity to reply d posts. :'(

Missed many things of life n still goin' on with it but d waitin' hardly ends ... still keepin' ma fingers crossed .... hope for the best for everyone ;D

Hey! I completely understand your frustration. I'm in the same boat. How about we all keep in touch once the applicants are in canada and send one email with all our signatures to the immigration ministry?

Good idea Maplegal, after we get our visa, we should get in touch and file a complaint against the passport holding. I understand we cannot quesiton the processes or the delay in processing, but passport processing. For all other documents we submitted, we didn't have to submit the original - marriage certificate, birth certifcate, photos, forms, copies of other important document supporting documents etc. We could afford to loose all these documents, as these could have been reproduced. Passport is the most important among all these, and among any other docs. Why can't they at least have a mechanism to acknowledge the receipt of passport alone? Or if they don't want that, why can't they ask to subimt copies of all pages of all passports, insted of the orginals. We all submitted our passports before quite a few months, they have been holding on these(supposedly) and we aren't even assured about it.

The first and foremost thing i feel, dat atleast CHC NDVO should add information related to passport received or not in the ECAS so dat many Ppl will come to know of it and atleast dey will b cool n calm with the information of their only traveling and personal identification document (PP). 8)

Yup. Let's do this. If we don't give feedback, they'll never know what the problems are. PM me your email addresses and we can share our points. I doubt anyone of us will check the forum so regularly once the visas are issued, tickets booked and we're sipping hot chocolate in cold Canada! ;D
