May be NDVO should publish excuses for not working on a weekly basis:
Dec 1st to 20th : Preparations for Christmas and New Year
Dec 20th to 31st 2012: Christmas & New year party
Jan 1st to 5th 2013: New Year Party hangover
Jan 5th to Jan 10th : hunting for files misplaced during new year party and wiping the drinks and food off them
Jan 10th to -- :Winter is too cold, cant open files with gloves on
Something like that.

hehehehehe @ mumble...... winter is going great in alberta these weeks.. but i know it will get extreme one of these coming weeks... wish every one's partner gets visa soon to enjoy rest of the winter in each other's warm arms and warm hugs,, Else our winters are cold, our hearts are cold.. And lonely nights, lonely hearts.. And cold nights and cold days and cold hearts.
The only thing that can bring warmth to our lives is that visa or an expensive (matreialistically) trip back home...
Suggest me some drink that I have this moment... and sleep or get drunk... and when I wake up, that is the time for me to rush to airport to pick up my beloved (and I say to myself: oh shoot, I am 45 minutes late.. my dear might have cleared even customs and immigration by now)..

Worst part is that we have all our dates here in this site. So even though we are all anonymous with our code names, dont you think they can trace your files with the dates

I would be glad if they see us and come to know who we are.
They would come to know we are waiting for so long.
And no, I do not think they are monitoring. From what I have heard they are understaffed. And more delays lead to more GCMS and MP inquiries. So they have to spend time addressing those too. Which results in more delays.

They can actually outsource some documentation to especially vella people like me.

Canada is about freedom... By sharing all these opinions and experiences on a forum, we are exercising those canadian values... If someone is scared to share the truth, probably Canada is not for him/her...

Canada is about freedom... By sharing all these opinions and experiences on a forum, we are exercising those canadian values... If someone is scared to share the truth, probably Canada is not for him/her...

Canada or India its the bad attitude and the fallen nature of humans which creates all issues. For e.g. 5 years back when I was in Vancouver, none honks, drivers were disciplined and people were polite. Today its different. Its just the opposite.

How did this happen in 5 years? Whats the big difference that came in 5 years? How can people change so quickly?

The answer is there and we just need to open our eyes and accept the truth

So never expect this freedom of expression will be there forever. You see all the shooting in US. They are a big economy, educated, ..then why do they do this?

Its all about the people who make a country what it is today.

In India also we talk about culture, freedom etc? Do we have it.... Culture is just a covering and all bad things are done secretly.

Obviously a lots of inflow will bring some values not inherent to Canada.. It also becomes our responsibility as well to maintain those values and to make our beloveds (that we are bringing here) or next generation to respect and maintain those values... Worked well so far and I think Canada did not drift much from those in last 5-10 years....
In last 10 years, I experiened/toured very closely the USA, Canada, England and Australia... And Australia has done very well so far and hope so from canada too in coming years (both in visa and traffic).. So if we dont like something, speak it up with freedom, and nothing to hide from NDVO... I believe they appreciate truth as well...
