Well your are lucky enough to get a visa after your PR was applied but I submitted strong documents both mine and my spouse employments certificates both bank statements, Air tickets PR Receipts, Marriage certificate with court's attested notarized seals through lawyer but bad luck my visa was refused, mostly this is an matter of luck anyways thanks alot hope to get PR soon and expect the same in your case too!!

i got decision made finally on my ecase on saturday but online its showing my wifes canadian address they had my indian address on file but somehow didnt upload it did anyone faced the same problem .i dont know what to do really stressed and does anyone have an idea how long will it take to recieve the passport back and also my passport is expiring in march 2013 any idea of how long does a passport should be valid someone told me it should be valid for 6 months and someone told me that if u are going as pr validity doesnt matter validity id for only visitor or students can someone help me plz

I've been following this thread for a couple of months. It’s a huge consolation to know my husband I are not the only ones struggling through this lengthy process.
If someone is updating the excel sheet, our application information is trailed below:

Application received at Mississauga : 21 June 2012
Sponsorship Approval : 10th September 2012
PPR : 22nd September 2012
PP sent : 25th September 2012
PP received by NDVO : 27th September 2012
Present status : Application received (Medical results have been received)

Dear Manpreet,

First of all congratulations for decision Made on your application. By the way are you sure that you are checking eCas by putting your information and not sponsor's details?? I'd also noticed that your PPR was in Feb 2012. does that mean that your passport with NDVO since Feb 2012??

If you found that DM on your own application on last Saturday (8th Dec 2012), in that case you might got your passport in a week times. and don't worry if your passport is going to expired in March 2013. You can travel with three months of expiry or you can get a new passport with in three days from RPO.

Thanks I pray we get the approval.. I have one more question... we have age different he is 6 yrs younger to me and I am more educated than him.. Its like not a very good match in these perspectives but our is a love - arrange marriage.,, Is it fine or do they mind these criteria....We have provided as many proofs as we can send.. Actually I got my PR in May than I went back and got married in August.. So this is one more reason that makes me tense... Please answer.....

Approved by cic july 12
Passport request august 11
Passport sent august 13
Additional document request october 4
Went into in process 9n november 23
Changed to decision made December 10

I have a few questions as the passport has not been received and I am worried about the status as it says

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

What does it mean

Also my other concern is that it still shows india address

For the people that it changed to decision made did it show india address

I am little worried about this

Did you apply for visitor visa after the application for PR was received by missisauga office...?
i applied using all info from cic website.
just like a regular visitor visa application.....only difference that i mentioned in the letter that i have applied for permanent residence and gave the application no, date it was received by cic-M...etc
I also mentioned a valid reason that my husband cannot make a trip to india as he already took a long leave during wedding,....so i will be visiting him now. somehow the vo was convinced and gave me the visa for 6 months till jan 2013.
But had to come back as got PPR in september......Wish i could have stayed longer as now this process after sending passport seems never ending.....

Hi all I got in touch with my area MP.Got to knw that my case is all clear .Interview is waived off.But all they want my spouse to go through more medical tests ,thts why they are holding on to that.But they have failed to send any letter for same.So even after sending a query overall situation remains same.
My spouse has nothing significant in his medical history .I am bit confused if we shld get in touch with the doctor who did medicals earlier or wait for the re medical letter to arrive.
thnksHi guys please give more suggestions..if
1.i shld get back to MP again.
2.My consultant shld contact ND office again.
Has somebody gone thru same prblm ..please suggest ?

Hi Darkages, looks like time for you to celebrate and should receive your passport in few days. The online status is not always reliable. Sometime, the people don't even go in process and the DM shows first... So CONGRATULATIONS!

Methinks, you should send a query to Delhi atleast for record. Is the reply from MP in writing?
