your time line almost exactly the same as mine. I hope we will get visa before X-mas. At the time of Interview, Visa Officer told me that It will take approx two months to get your passport back with Visa and we'd requested ND VO if we will get PP before X-mas and VO said that It may possible. So lets see....

I saw, our timelines are same. If you don't mind can I ask, what made them to interview you?? What did they ask?

I was interviewed because of extensive travel histories (5 passports Submitted). Officer did not ask much only few questions from our application only . It was last for 20 mins and both of us were present at the time interview. We did not questioned individually as VO already told me that she approved our application. The only part is waiting for the two months from the date of interview. So let's see if I will get my PP back before X-mas. I guessed that you were waived from Interview.

21 days have passed since the date of my file transfer to NDVO but no passport request has yet come. Generally i have seen its made within 2-3 weeks. i am getting anxious. what could be the reason for delaying the passport request?? anybody having a similar experience??

I'm a little curious, when is everybodys medicals expiring? Im kinda hopeful that they will issue us the visa before the expiry.

medicals are valid for a year. yes you will get your visa before they expire. Infact I was talking to my consultant yesterday and he was saying that medical expiry ke pehle visa hona hi chahiye. I also asked him about the quota stuff abd all. According to him there is no quota for family class. Which rahul has already confirmed.

yes they requested my passport two months after file transfer via phone. Dont worry you will get it soon

So another dead week is gone...and as per HNIC things will start moving after the US Thanksgiving week which means he has added fuel to the fire of hope...lol and I want to thank him for that !

if i m not wrong... this weekend is thanksgiving weekend... so according to the new hope... we can expect some activity... before its xmas time... !!

US Thanksgiving is 4th Thursday of November which was Yesterday...but I can't imagine how this influences our applications...good luck to all !
