So this guys family needs to trave in 10 days from then or 2 days from now because medicals wil expire on 25th.

May be some of guys know me...I was not witting anything here about some period but I was reading everybody's post specially Rahul, mumble...etc

let me tell you why?...

I am freaking tired of this visa system. I hate my self why did I go India and get married? I hate ND VO and system. Everyday I am thinking about that. I even dont like to do anything...My relationship is on dangerous zone , There is a gap started between my wife and my's relation


I swear a God I will never suggested to any body and my relative that they go India and get married. You can not believe How much I hate this system . I hired lawer but Lawer said that That ND guys even dont give a *censored word* to lawyers also ...I asked lawyer that any idea when we get visa? no body knows ND

I hate I hate my self, ND you... ....I met 2 guys here in edmonton, who get visa exact in 5 months....I send my cousin who got his approval within 17days from Mississauga and I got mine in 110 days


this guys are unbelievable....I quit to pray god..now I am not trust no more on god.....

sorry bro. about your situation. But I tell you its same with all of us. I have my parents with me, I have to move to other city to join a new job , some university exams and above all this Immigration stress. My life has literally become too hard right now. I have been planning everything that I will be able to start my life now..now and that now is not coming since months. Me and my wife talks are based on immigration everytime rather than anything else.

I have two friends they got the visas in 5 months exact, applied in april and may.

I totally agree with you do not get married in India if you are not ready to live apart for one year (most imp. time after marriage).
But one thing is there, life has become a joke for nd vo.
God please forgive these immigration people.....

Also noted, there are many visas issued around in last 2-3 weeks in other countries (Non-NDVO's). Ex. London:

I am from edmonton too and have the same timeline.

I am sorry to hear about your situation and will suggest you not to loose hope.

you have to examples of 2 guys who got visa in 5 months.

Me, you, Rahul, ApScorpion we are from all are from Alberta with almost similar time line and its makes us 4 and there might be others too.

Would suggest you to hang in there. Its true you go through ups and downs in a long distance relationship.

I am going through some of them too. Don't expect anything before Jan that's the best thing we can do.

I have seen some people posting about presence of Quota and some saying Its not there.

If its not there what is the reason for delay?

If there would have been a problem with your, mine, ApScorpion or Rahuls case, others who applied in June, July might have been getting visa by now. My case is in process from over 2.5 months.

Since nobody is getting visa right now, I can only think of just one cause "They are not issuing it to anybody at present due to x y z reason".

Hi I have a few questions for spousal sponsorship. I will be applying very soon for my wife from New Delhi.

My wife lives with her Parents, Brother and Sister-In-law.

1. Do all of them (parents, brother and sister-in-law have to fill IMM5669 (Background Declaration), IMM5406E(Additional Family Information) and Details of foreign travels

2. Second issue is that my wife doesnt have a last name on the passport. Although she will be taking my last name but for the time being I want to file her papers with my last name. She will be renewing her passport soon with my last name but at this time her name on the forms doesnt exactly match the passport. Should I just put in a letter stating the fact that she has applied for a spouse name addition on the passport

Will really appreciate the help.

1. No, she have to give all information only in additional family information and only those who accompanying her should give back ground declaration. Dependent child etc.

2. you can apply with your last name on her application however at the time of PPR, you have to send the PP with the last name. But I suggest you if you get your last name amended in her passport, it will be an evidence of a true relationship and will carry a weight on your application.

wht does 10 month processing time means on ND visa office web site .If they started processing it on 18th septmber..does that mean they will take 10 months addition to that.

That actually means how long it would take for STEP 2 which starts the day your file is transferred to Delhi, the first communication you received clearly states that the 'File is now forwarded to a visa office abroad'.

Based on thr this timeline I think April and may applicants shld not panic...but i guess cannt help it
