10 Months do not surprise me at all, reason because December is approaching and those who are in Canada know Christmas is not just celebrated on 25th but throughout December. :P :D Jokes apart I am sure they are working on some other visa categories.

don't worry guys and gals cheer up... and please do not expect anything before Jan.

It will be nice if you get something before Jan 2013. But console yourself for Jan.

all the best... :)

Time to visit India... :D

Yes, I have tickets purchased to visit Nepal for most of January. I am not expecting them to give us any information before than. It is still painful though to wait for so long to see him...

F****k these NDVO people. They have really made fun of a spouse relation. Time to visit India and my wife.

I agree its painful but just by thinking about the pain most of the times you are tending your self to feel more of it. :)

I know. I am becoming a kind of master of distraction. I have created so many hobbies and have watch so many movies to distract my mind this past year to avoid thinking of it. It has been one year today since I last saw my husband so it has been difficult especially today to hear this news. In general we are both coping ok with the distance and have faith it will not be for too much longer.

This is bad. I have not been here for a while and no new at all!!

by look at all this, I have decided to go to India for December and January and work from there remotely. I do not know WTF the NDVO is doing these days. It was all fine and folks were getting visas in 150 odd days and suddenly nothing. And the processing time on the site is up from 8 to 10 months. total garbage.

I have a few questions - Do NDVO give visitor visa to spouse? Is there anything wrong in applying that before PR gets processed? What are the certainties that NDVO gives visitor visa to spouse? Has anyone applied for it?

Hope the ones before me hear some good news soon.

Take care everyone... Cheers.

Hi all - I just received a request from CIC in new delhi to submit my passport to process my application. I had a few questions, great if you could help answer.

1. I can send my passport by a courier, but how the embassy return my passport?
2. Are there self-addressed envelopes available by couriers in India?
3. How long does it usually take for one to get the passport back once it's been submitted?
4. I'm a permanent resident of singapore and the CIC needs to send me a letter requesting for police clearance from Singapore along with an appeal letter. Has anyone faced this before? How long does it take for them to send that letter?

Any information you can provide would be extremely helpful. Thanks

Hey everyone
did u see the quarterly update :( im so upset
i think im going to cry

average processing time for ND is 10 months now :'(

Last quarterly update: October 24, 2012

New Delhi – India 10 Months

The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012. Processing times are subject to change.

So this data is from back in time, we are about 2 months past it...and even during that time we know that people did get DM in a much shorter time than that. No need to cry over something you cant control !
