So today, we got the reply from ND for the query we had send on 14th September 2012 :O

Following is the part of the response we got..

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

Hi iwonder,

So you got a reply since your e-mail from Set. 14th....what a joke.....!!!

I sent them 2 e-mails 1) on Oct. 10th & 2) on Nov. 01st..........so I should expect a reply by New year lolzz..

Totally ridiculous.......and it's getting worse...........

Hi

Pls help me in filling out the supplementary information form. Do i have to just sign at the bottom & write "Not-Applicable" in particulars column as my travel history is NIL. Also do i have to write the name at the top of the form. If yes then what should I write against the File No.

Pls reply as I have to send the doc's today.

Yeah..
For a moment I was surprised that we have got the reply today to the second email we had sent yesterday...and then we realized it was the reply for the first email sent on 14th sept

-Do not write anything under File No if you are sending all your forms today.. ELSE If this is the form is part of additional request document(i.e. if you had sent the documents before and cic has asked you to send this form ) then you must have been given the File number.

- Sign and Date at the bottom

- Add your name at the top and also in the declaration part just above the sign.

- In case of no travel history just write NIL or NA

- Mention total number of passports you have ( expired and current)

Hope it helps.

Dear Iwonder

Pls tell me do I have to write Name, DOB & Date photo taken at the back of photographs which I am sending with immigration forms. If yes whether on all (six) of them or only on five as mentioned in FSW immigration guide or should they be left blank....

Hi Iwonder...what are ur timelines for application?

You have to provide 6 photos as mentioned... I don't remember adding name, dob and date at which photo taken has to be written..I didn't write all those in mine..I just sent them like that...make sure that those are immigration photos and not passport..as mentioned in the guide..they are particular about photos.
